I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. I have not felt that comfortable with a room in a long time. The check-in staff was so friendly and welcoming. Over all, I'd have to say great experience.

Pros:It was convenient and good price. Housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons:Room was outdated and needed a bit of renovation. On our last night there was a back in another room or area and when it was being checked our sink started to bubble and water came up from the drain (which smelled awful). Desk staff during check in was not very friendly or welcoming.

Pros:It was probably an awesome place in 1982 when it was last remodeled... First time I've ever been to a hotel that there was no cold water in the shower. I've had lots of no hot water experiences, but only scalding hot water was a first.

7.1 Good
Pros:The staff at the Ramada in Burbank are very friendly and helpful. The rooms we clean and tidy and the furnishings had been updated in the last year or so. The only complaints are to do with the building. I believe this is an older building and you can tell. Our sink leaked pretty badly from the faucet into the cabinet under the sink. We would get standing water under the sink almost daily, and would try to wipe it out, but you could tell this was a constant problem; there was visible water damage and a little mold (it looked like the entire area had been scoured recently or there may have been more). My other complaint was the shower. This place probably has old piping and without a huge renovation I don't know what they could do about this, but they have some kind of hot water heater/weird piping gremlin here. No matter what temperature you try to get the shower to, whether it's ice cold or as hot as it will get, the temperature changes constantly and dramatically. i would be in the shower and suddenly the water would get completely scalding. This wasn't right after I got in it would be about six minutes in and I hadn't touched anything. So I turn the temperature down all the way and the water gets hotter. Way hotter. I'm standing in the shower and I have to get out because the water is going to burn me. I stood there for five more minutes waiting for it to cool down enough to get back in and wash the shampoo out of my hair. I barely got it rinsed it before the temp jumped back up again, and the temperate was still set for as cold as it would go. Later that day, hours later, when my husband went to use the shower, He would have either scalding water or ice cold water and no in between. We found this problem to be constant in our 7 day stay. We also had the maintenance people look at the sink and they tried to fix it but it didn't really work. It didn't really bother me, I just wiped out the standing water but I was worried about water damage to their hotel and I leaking through to the room below if the problem went unchecked or unnoticed by the next guest. So the pipes are old and the shower was frustrating and you had to be careful using the sink so you didn't flood the area, but the staff is lovely and the rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. And they have free wifi and the pizza place will deliver to your room.

Pros:Some of the front desk staff was polite. Pool was a decent size.
Cons:Bed was not leveled .Floors also felt like it had holes at least 1 square foot in some spots. Shower head was pretty dirty. The noise was bad from construction crew that was fixing a room close to my room. Noise from highway was pretty bad early morning and late at night. Walls were so thin that I heard conversations as if I was in the same room.
