Horrible check in experience - homophobic staff Horrible services and staff Outdated and poor condition interiors and rooms. Smelled of mildew and wet carpet/animals Poor water pressure in shower Overpriced for a rundown highway motel, should be $50 a night Would never recommend this place, never would stay here again.

Our 1st floor room overlooked the parking lot and the Shell gas station beyond. The room was furnished with outdated & well used carpeting & furniture. The tub faucet & valve were both quite loose. The pool was closed but this wasn’t mentioned at check in. A guest’s pickup truck revved it engine past midnight for over 15 minutes outside our (and our neighbors rooms) with loud voices without any staff intervention. Basically, our stay was memorable for being one that we will not repeat.

Cons:The Pet Friendly Room (+$50) we had smelt like...it was BAD We where there for a Funrel 10 RMS in total half the guests had Free Breakfast Included & the others didn't?!? The Front Desk explained this away due to 1/2 the guest rooms having been booked on 3rd Party Vendor Sites

Pros:The staff were super attentive. The rooms were beautiful and the beds really comfortable. Great location right off of 84.
Cons:My only complaints is that I like a cold room to sleep in and I didn't like that the AC would shut off in the middle of the night, couldn't keep the fan to stay humming all night it would go off intermittently, so hard for a light sleeper.

Pros:We stayed at the Ethan Allen hotel twice while we were traveling recently. We absolutely loved everything about it. The staff were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The rooms are nicely decorated with Ethan Allen furniture. The beds are to die for and are comfortable beyond belief. Our room even had a Keurig which made us feel right at home and certainly beat the standard hotel coffee pot. We will definitely stay at The Ethan Allen hotel whenever we are in Danbury, Connecticut.
