Pros:I always stay at the Landis when I visit Taipei. The service is excellent, the food is good and the staff friendly & competent. The rooms are spacious and clean and the location is great. It is very much like a boutique hotel, if that is what you enjoy.
Cons:The gym equipment is a bit outdated! Only complaint.

Cons:buffet breakfast is not as good as used to be, compare with my last year stay.
Pros:This is a very elegant hotel with a wonderful layout. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and very clean, with spacious bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The staff were incredible. They all displayed high quality customer service and were extremely helpful, from getting us taxis to helping us find local places to eat as well as suggestions of where to go to see things in Taipei. The breakfast was very well organized and had a mix of western and Chinese food. One of the Manager's Johnny was very kind and respectful and always made sure that we were happy. The whole stay was amazing and would very highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Taipei. For the service and amenities this hotel offered I believe this was an excellent deal in terms of cost. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Cons:neighborhood didn't have stores that were of interest to walk to.
Pros:The staff lived up to its reputation as being both friendly and helpful. Also, we visited the Shangri-La while in Taipei and glad we stayed at the Landis. The other hotels had an industrial feel and totally impersonal. Will be returning.
Cons:The only complaint was that the beds were a bit hard, but not a deal breaker.
