Contemporary, stylish decor. Exceptional cleanliness. Loved the full length windows which provided good natural light and views. Staff gave us a treat for special occasion. The executive lounge was very good with panoramic views.

The Hyperion is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of the Basel SBB, and with nos 2 and 6 trams stopping right outside the front door of the hotel, to transport you to all parts of the city centre. Alternatively it is an easy walk to most central places of interest. The breakfast choice was excellent (especially the really good chef who makes omelettes to order). The restaurant was pleasant, but we also enjoyed an easy evening meal in the bar.
We were happy with the service, assistance, attention, room and facilities throughout our stay.

Great location! People at the reception with a service orientation. Nice customer service approach. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.
Prices in certain times are simply too high. I understand there are events in Messeplatz but prices can go to more than double and that's not nice.
