Pros: car was as promised, office help was friendly and polite, even when machines were down when I returned the car.

Will not do it again
Cons: I was punished by picking up the rental late. I was ended up with triple charges. Budget said the reservation was made through a 3rd party, while Kayak had no customer service agent I could speak to.

Pros: The rental experience I had with Jorge and his wife was the best I've ever had. They were extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. THANK YOU!

Pros: Due to flight issues, we missed our pickup. When we called true next day, they said it would be $1200 more to rent it for one less day. We rented another vehicle through hertz.

Pros: Quick and extremely helpful/friendly check in. (I had mistakenly made my reservation for the wrong date - completely my fault - but the person working helped me through the changes and was able to switch my reservation over to the day I needed it with no change in price.) The car was basically brand new, very clean and in great condition.
Cons: My only problem was that I found it hard to find the rental counter - there weren't signs outside for Budget so I was confused. Luckily the door person at the hotel was able to point me in the correct direction!

Pros: The price was great and the pickup location was easy to get to.
Cons: The guy in the parking garage who greeted us when we were turning the car back in was so rude and obnoxious!
Cons: The car was clean but the smell of cleaning solution/ air freshener was really strong and gave me a headache. I had to have the windows open all day and all night to air it out. The next day, the smell was still evident and I had to wash the clothes I wore because the it seeped into my clothing.
I wish they would have emailed me a copy of my receipt.

Pros: The car was ready for pick up at the time I requested and there was not a long wait to process.
The care was in mostly good condition, with a small scratch on the back from a previous renter.
Drove well and convenient for this weekend trip.
Cons: Drop off was fairly unorganized. There were several cars being dropped off and it was not clear where to go. When I went to return the paperwork, there were a ton of people waiting to pick up cars and it wasn't clear if we had to wait to process our forms too.
After about 20 minutes of waiting, the lady at the desk told us we could leave the paperwork, which could have saved the time waiting in line.

Cons: There were four main problems with the rental-
1. The rear brake light was out
2. The radio was broken
3. There was garbage strewn about the car and it was obvious that it was not cleaned since the last rental

Only Had 1 Car Available
Pros: The employee at the front desk was very nice.
Cons: I had asked for a "compact" car rental, and when I arrived at 7:15am was told that Avis had only one car available to rent at that moment - and it was a dodge minivan. It was massive. Though the employee at the desk gave me the same rental rate despite the different vehicle, it ultimately cost me more than a compact car would have because of the severe difference in gas mileage. I was extremely disappointed with this service and will not be using this location again.

Avis in Cambrige
Pros: Staff was courteous, the car was clean and the terms of contract were clear. The return was relatively hassle-free except the parking I was returning the car to was being washed and I had to find my way around to the drop off spot (there were no signs for re-direction).
Cons: I almost got charged $114 for a &69 rental because I was about to pick it up 30 minutes early, nobody was going to point this out to me until I showed my Kayak email and the counter clerk told me I was picking the car up 30 minutes early! I think $55 for 30 minutes is a bit steep, don't you?

Cons: Pick up and drop off were both very slow and poorly coordinated. Drop off took about 20 minutes longer than it should have, and the customer service agents were rude and unhelpful even though they caused a significant inconvenience (I was on my way to the airport).

Slowest rental location ever
Cons: Staff at this location were very slow and unorganized. No one answered the phone.

Cons: Car was given to me with a screw in the tire and when notified the office they would not help us out. We were placed in a dangerous situation as they would not pick up the car for us, instead made us drive on a highway to swap out the car. This was completely unacceptable and unsafe. The motto is supposed to be "we will pick you up" which clearly is not true. Then when I tried to drop off the car, the lot was full and nobody answered the phone for hours.

Pros: Quick and easy rental, friendly staff, decent car and VERY affordable compared to renting at Logan.
Cons: Car was pretty dirty, the interior had not been cleaned in quite some time. The inside of windshield was a safety hazard it was so cloudy.

Enterprise comes through!
Pros: Needed a car in a hurry and they came through. Had many choices on lot, and offered others off-site when I came at 11am. Transaction was quick, efficient and friendly, on both pick-up and return. No time wasted at all. A very lively location, close to subway stop, shops and 3 minute drive to the Mass Pike entry.

Pros: After going threw a litany of requirments, i was finally able to rent a car.
Cons: I did know that this location not only make you bring in last bills and pay stub like i was applying for a job. The rental process is misleading and possiable illigal. They take out the total amount from your account then they take out a additionally $250 fee supposedly to hold until you bring the car back but they withdraw it with the total amount. When you return the car you have to wait up until 5 business days to get your $250 back into your account. The car are really dirty and there is no privacy when rental a car and giving them your personal information

Cons: I had booked my car rental 4 months in advance to ensure I would get the car I wanted for a road trip through New England. However, when I got to Thrifty they said they could not find the keys for the car I had requested. I had wanted a small car to save on gas mileage and the elevation I would be driving on. Instead they gave me a mid size car that went through a lot of gas. Also, the car reeked of cigarette smoke. The smell was so strong we had to invest in air freshners which did very little for the smell. I had tried spraying perfume as well which was only a momentary fix. We kept the windows down for most of the drive. When we would turn on the AC, a very sour smell would come through the vents. Also, we had been told rolls would be covered; however, before leaving we told the car had not been registered to EZ Pass so we would be responsible for all tolls, which added up.
Long story short, do not rent from this company.

Poor Customer Service
Cons: They don't have any information. Their policies are waste. Their toll charges are compulsory if you don't take it they put fine on you. Thier insurance charges are ao high. Just having car charges low as compared to other companies doesn't matter overall thrifty is super expensive including all insurance toll and other services. They don't have decent cars too.
Cons: I had to wait 30 minutes to pick the car up and the lady was not kind to me..she did not ask me the fuel options, did not explain much, just wanted me to sign and leave.
I returned the car early with quick return but have not received my invoice yet, as it explained on the box. I should not have any extras but l am not sure whether they would charge me anthing extra
