Pros: Stumbled on Kayak in a last ditch effort to get any car for the weekend. Everything worked out perfect. The Hertz shop had a small and very busy Friday, but well trained staff that got me In my car in record breaking time (my experience). (Apparent) manager checked me out when I returned and he was excellent as well: Honest and determined leaders can ensure integrity in service for customers. Thanks again.

Cons: did not have the car I reserved, wanted to downgrade to smaller car for same price or more...refused to upgrade to next size car without costing me more money...will NEVER rent from them again

What is happening to ORF rentals?
Cons: Third time in a row and across multiple agencies as well as heard the same from coworkers. Car was filthy, full of human and pet hair, dog slime, sticky seats and console, trash in the compartments and my son found a large knife in the overhead as we were driving it home!! then 10 hours of everyone miserable due to allergic response to all the pet dander in the cab. All after booking the car for a noon pickup only to find out that the agency closed at noon, then had to rebook to pickup at the airport making us late, then they could not take a debit card and said that my refund for the first booking will take up to three weeks! Horrible experience, I have to rent again for this weekend, not sure what I am going to do.

Cons: I thought I was renting a full size car. My pick up time was Friday at 6pm, but they close at 6pm so not sure why they would allow me to schedule that time. I called them Friday May 5 around 3 or 3:30pm to see if I could come early and was told that they did not have a full size car at that time. I arrived around 530-545pm. They still didn't have a full size car, the gentleman took me outside to a 2016 Nissan Rogue, he told me it was an upgrade. I was disappointed because I was traveling and really wanted a trunk. I currently own a 2015 Nissan Rogue and the one I rented didn't have half the stuff my 2015 has. This was a base model all the way around no upgrades. I was supposed to return the car Sunday May 14, but I was so dissatisfied, I took it back Saturday morning, May 13 at 9am, when they were supposed to open. Well myself and another gentleman waited outside for about 15 minutes when the lady finally arrived. She walked right by us and did not say a word. She never spoke or greeted us never apologized for her tardiness. Once we were inside she asked what we were here for we replied drop off. She took the keys went and looked at the cars came back and gave us a receipt. This was my first rental with HERTZ, I normally use Enterprise but decided to give HERTZ a try. NEVER AGAIN, ENTERPRISE HERE I COME!!!
Pros: Quick easy process and the vehicle was very clean.

Horrible customer service!
Cons: We showed up to get the car and they didn't have anything available and told us they would call back at 2:00. They never did. Upon calling them they said maybe they would have a car at 6:00. They didn't. We contacted their corporate and everyone we spoke with was rude and unhelpful. They told us to call another location who didn't answer their phones (we tried at least 10 times). Finally, we gave up and went to enterprise. Enterprise was great, by the way!
Pros: The service was fast and friendly. As soon as I walked in, someone immediately started helping me. It was easy to add my husband as a driver and then we walked outside to our car, which was washed and ready to go. The service when I brought the car back was exactly the same, fast and friendly.

Pros: Excellent condition and fabulous rare for my mini van rental!
Cons: Told I could pick up anywhere. However, the rate changed bases on location in picked up. Thankfully they called me before pick up. I was able to change back to my original location that I got my rate from

Additional Driver Fee
Cons: I rented a car for my stepdaughter who is 27 (minimum age to rent a car is 25). She was the only driver and the only one taking a trip in the car; however, I was paying for it. Because the driver was not the payer, Enterprise said we had to pay the additional driver fee of $13.50 per day. Apparently the payer has to be listed as the primary driver, even thought they have no intentions of using the car. It added an additional $40.50 to my bill.
