Good value set menu in the restaurant, but see negative comments. Plenty of choice on the breakfast buffet.
My husband suffered from suspected food poisoning following our stay. Ha and I ate the same food, apart from the pate de foie gras. Could this have been the source? Mentioned the illness to the staff but it was suggested he had simply eaten too much! He is still ill 3 days later. Prepaid breakfast was uneaten.

Good place to stop for a night on your way to Spain/Portugal. The hotel has no parking but there is a supervised parking lot next door. (2 min walk - we payed 5€ a night.)

Amazing staff who went above and beyond in a medical situation - Chloe, Katherine and the night porter. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel in a wonderful setting and far exceeded our expectation. Recommended very strongly. Lovely town.
