Pros: Great location 3 mins walking distance to Batha door and main restaurants. The Ryad is really quite and made me feel at home, with a nice welcome drink (tea and biscuits). Room equipped with everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was excellent also, with fresh fruits, yogurt, and also pastries and local cakes (I loved the rice pudding, had two of them hehe). Staff is the cherry on the cake, super friendly and ready to assist you in case of need. Would defo come back!!!

Pros: Ryad Alya is probably one of the best accommodations in Fès! From arrival to departure, we enjoyed every moment there. Especially Ahlam, Youssna and Ismail have been the kindest hosts we've met during our whole morocco-trip! They always made sure we've got everything we need. They were always smiling and nice to chat with. Also the rooftop dinner was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Can't recommend this place enough! If I'm ever coming back to Fès, this would be my first choice.
Cons: Nothing! :)

Pros: Riad was amazing, so clean and staff were so friendly and accomadating, especially Simon he could not have been more helpful with information and organising a trip to the blue city, would highly recommend staying here, very comfortable and peaceful ambiance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most wonderful stay at this riad! We got information about where to park and how to find the way to the riad. It’s not easy to find a riad in fes, but this one was already marked on the streets so you could’t get it wrong. Also the communication was very fast and clear. We immediately got tea and cookies when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the best breakfast and the seasonal juice was amazing! Simon really made us feel like we were home in the riad. We had a nice chat and he brought us tea by the pool. He made sure we didn’t miss anything! The room was great and we even got an update to a more expensive room. Everything is cleaned every day so it was very clean. The room also has everything you need. It even has a jacuzzi on the terras! You also have a great view over the city from the rooftop. The rooms are as in the pictures. An amazing place to get away from the busy old medina. The riad is just a few minutes away from the most known places in Fes like the blue gate. We didn’t have dinner at the riad, but we saw other people having dinner and the food looked really good! If we return to Fes, we will also return to this riad and we will recommend it to other people.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff very kind and accommodating. The riad was quiet and peaceful and I rarely saw anyone else there. My room was well-decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Bed was large and comfortable with good quality bedding.
Cons: Small thing, but perhaps the bathroom could be refreshed with a bath or new shower. I wasn't able to close the shutter in the bathroom so it jutted into the shower. I would have liked the option of a more Moroccan breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything the moment I entered the Riad and the hospitality of Hussain To our royal suit and the terrace outside Everything was just perfect
Cons: Breakfast was decent Wish they change the shower at the royal suite The pool was so cold wish there was a heating system
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted a double bed instead of singles and they upgraded us for free as it was low season. They provided great advice and organised a great walking tour for us. This place is AMAZING !!! We asked for an omellette as part of breakfast and this was not a problem. Mohamed is a sweerheart.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This Riad exceeded my expectations. While paying a little more than at other accommodation, Riad Borj Dhab presented like a palace. I had a very large room with a four post bed, chandelier and other beautiful furnishings. The location near Place RCIF was also excellent. The staff were also all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Sensational value for money.
Cons: No negatives at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The best Riad we stayed at in Morocco and we wished we could spend more time! Upon arrival we were welcomed with a Moroccan mint tea and Moroccan treats which was very nice. When we arrived, our room had been upgraded to the suite as it was our anniversary which was such a sweet gesture. The room itself was beautiful - traditional Moroccan style and was massive, very comfortable and even had a TV and mini fridge. Every day we came back to a very clean and tidy room. The breakfast was included and was served on the terrace. The breakfast always arrived very fast and was very tasty with very generous quantities. Also they serve the best Moroccan mint tea we have ever tasted (and we had all over Morocco but this one was by far the best!!!) The Riad also has an amazing rooftop terrace with beautiful views. We sat one here one night to watch the sunset and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The best part about this Riad that makes it so special is the staff. They were so kind, welcoming and friendly. They made the effort to speak to us and get to know us and made us feel so at home. One of them told us about her home town that she came from and showed us photos of the how is the life there. I would write the names but I am afraid I will spell them incorrectly but if they read this they will know who they are! :) Thank you for an amazing experience in Fes!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location inside the old Medina , staff extremely helpful and gave us some very advice on where to eat . They also organise a half day tour with Hanan . Hanan was amazing she is a very warm and informative person and took us on a wonderful tour through the Medina. There was no pressure to buy anything and we got to taste some amazing food from the market stalls . We were only in Fes for one night and the Riad and the tour were perfect.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nour and her team were excellent. The walking tour by Hanna was really good.Breakfast was traditional moroccan with breads and yoghurt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: At the heart of our stay were the wonderfully open and friendly staff. Nour was happy and efficient when booking day trips for Chefchauoen and Meknes for us. Hanan was the best city guide! Both Nour and Hanan have excellent English and service skills. Khalid was always warm and friendly, he was speedy and a great help with our bags. We had a quiet room on the top level, it had a great shower. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. It was great to have a fridge, and wifi readily available in the property. The Beef and prune tagine was delicious!
Cons: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. All I can think of would be, a little bit of fruit with breakfast could be a welcome addition. And although we had an air conditioner - sometimes all that is needed is a fan!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good staff, good location, nice clean room, Especially, tour guide HANNA is awsome!
Cons: a little far from parking area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upon arrival there were still a few things that had to be arranged such as bus tickets. After discussing this with the hotel staff we directly went into the city with Najib (the guard) to buy all these things. This is just an example of the numerous things the staff did to make our staying as pleasant as possible. We would really want to thank the entire staff of this Riad for making our time in Fez amazing.

Pros: Amazing hospitality and a beautiful riad that made our Fes experience amazing. Staff at the hotel were welcoming - willing to make suggestions on restaurants, book tours, and organize transportation. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Fes - location is convenient and easy to find. Looking forward to returning in the future.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff. They booked a Médina guide for us and hammam services. Plus they gave us great recommendations. Great breakfasts- different everyday. They helped us with directions to the riad and parking. Both can be very difficult to find in Fes. The riad emailed me directions before we left home and then helped me via what’s app as we arrived in the city. Also, when we were in Fed in was HOT! They adjusted our AC so we were really comfortable when we needed some downtime.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we stayed 4 nights and loved it! I would highly recommend to stay here! the whole team is so lovely. when I was sick, they helped me and made extra special tea and rice. I felt like being at home. Thank you so much!!
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing accommodation, location and staff . Love how the place has a story to tell and reflects the culture and heritage of Morocco and specially Fes. It feels like you are staying at someone’s luxury place and not a hotel. Mohammed will take care of you if you need a guide. Highly recommend you ask for Zakariya El Edrisis. He will take you to a 3 hours amazing tour and reveal to you the secrets of the town and history and meaning behind each symbol and sign . He speaks 4 languages fluently and can take you to all sort of discussions so feel free to ask.
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like but you need to be aware the whole place is not sound proof ... everything can be heard from inside your room. Wireless can be weak and rooms don’t have aTV. if you book the white room like me, keep in mind, it’s right in the middle of the Recieption
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The floors, rugs in room were white so the dirt was apparent. They should choose a different color since It is in Medina and can be quite dirty and dusty. otherwise all else was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we loved every thing! the food, the stuff the room every thing was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are beautiful and really comfortable. The location is good, close to everything but it’s not in the middle of Médina. I had a beautiful dinner on the terrace, with a perfect service, which I highly recommend. Warm hospitality from everyone!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: This riad is very clean and the staff are very nice and kindly. The toilet is large, the shampoo and show gel are very good quality. And the riad not far away to blue gate in Médina.
Cons: In the Room there is not proper table, only a very small side table, so my makeup items nowhere to place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the yard so much!! The room is comfortable and everything is clean and tidy. Deeply in love with the cleaning set it smells really nice, staffs are helpful and friendly. The popular "ins" window room is exactly which we stayed! The roof garden is enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend this riad to all my friends.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff came to meet us at the taxi lot so we wouldn’t get lost. We only stayed one night but had to leave early so they made us breakfast to go without hesitation. They also ensured we had a ride in the morning and welcomed us very warmly. A wonderful experience albeit short.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Momoune made us feel right at home The hotel is beautiful as expected for a riad I would stay here again if ever I return to Morocco
Cons: Service is a little slow but that’s common for Morocco
6.7 Good
Pros: The courtyards are beautiful and rooftop has spectacular views; the room is modern and clean with a very good shower; most of the staff are friendly and helpful; decent breakfast; location wise - the riad is at the heart of the medina so we managed to visit all the mey tourist spots by foot, that being said, it is also very far from the main road (ie where cars/taxis can stop by).
Cons: The porter arranged by the riad was rude and unfriendly - upon our arrival at the riad, the porter REFUSED to open the door when we did not tip him. When the same porter sent us to the taxi stand on our departure day, we tipped him an adequate amount but he insisted for more. When we refused to tip any extra amount, he slammed our taxi door. Clearly we were not very happy with his actions. We believe that tipping of the staff of the hotel (incl. the porter) should always be DISCRETIONARY AND OF A GRATUITOUS NATURE. Further, the Moroccan guy who has a beard and wears glasses (and appears to be the manager of the riad) is somewhat unfriendly - we also witnessed him requesting a guest to tip the porter another MAD 10 when the said guest had already paid MAD 10. Again, the amount of tip should always be on an entirely discretionary basis and should not be determined by someone from the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Riad is absolutely beautiful with three differents courtyards and splendid rooftops with medina views Tasty lunch and dinner available at the hotel. Double bedroom is very large space and perfectly tidy everyday. Dont forget it's in the medina but the hotel always help you with a guide to move around at night time or for carrying luggage
Cons: Breakfast is buffet, so better come early
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the middle of the Fes medina, which is a massive sprawl of winding streets. That makes it convenient to reach. The terrace has a spectacular view of the medina, especially in the evening when it's all lit up. A part of the hotel is a gorgeous, well-preserved 17th century home. Even the modern additions have been designed in keeping with the traditional Moroccan aesthetic. A shout-out to Omar, who does everything from billing to waiting tables. He was a terrific host.
Cons: It would be nice if the breakfast spread includes more varieties of fruit and dry fruit, both of which are of fantastic quality in Morocco.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is wonderful
Cons: The waiter behaved like a stupid with us, just because I ordered "two teas" and he wanted I said just "tea"
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the whole place it looks, historic, cultural, and miserable. The riad has a very long history while it keeps clean and tidy. If you like photographing, this is a must place for sure! Staffs are helpful and friendly, we arrived late and he picked us up and walked us to the riad. The room is the best one II've ever stayed, We love it!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, modern and comfortable, staff were attentive, location good
Cons: Its a little small and conplex to find your way around, but since its authentic, i guess it's supposed to be
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great architecture, massive rooms and very friendly staff (mostly). Perfect pillows and beds. The Riyad is one of the most beautiful ones we’ve stayed in through the trip
Cons: There was a smell in the bathroom. I don’t think I have anything else to call out
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The riad is sublime! The court yards, the pool and rooms are really beautiful! The staffs are very friendly too!
Cons: It locates inside the old town and only accessible by walking and we are not aware of it. So finding the hotel and parking is a bit stressful. Just call the hotel and they will send a local staff to help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The main patio is pretty charming with a history of more than 600 years. There are plenty of shared spaces, like corridor, their three patios, poolside, and of course the amazing terrace where you can enjoy the fabulous panorama of Médina. For the last two nights we stayed in a Junior Suite which is the main patio. It has a split level where locate the bathroom. The staff are helpful and speak fluent English. During our stay, they helped to arrange us an excursion to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknès. The service was excellent and the driver is kind and nice.
Cons: There are some young boys hanging out at night near the hotel, just about 5 to 10 meters away. So if you need to go out in the evening, pay attention and be careful.

6.3 Good
Pros: Nice room with a small private terrace.
Cons: Check the bathroom towels, ours were clearly dirty. Overpriced.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great decor. Good staff. Very good breakfast spread.
Cons: Location was good, but needs short walk with all luggage.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and dedicated to ensuring we had everything we needed. Abdul packed us lunches when we had an early start, made sure we were comfortable in our room and when my husband slipped and sprained his ankle, he carried him to a taxi so we could go to the hospital. The riad was beautiful and we had a gorgeous balcony area. It was very clean.
Cons: The location of the riad was far from the main mosques etc that me and my husband wanted of travel to.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a big room for 2 people.
Cons: The room didn t have a fridge.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing than room itself. Room we stayed was fine however there was a weird unpleasant smell inside all the time.
Cons: Our experience with this hotel was horrible. It is said in their description that there is a traditional moroccan hammam and treatments in Riad. When we arrived Riad, receptionist said that hammam is broken and will not be fixed for weeks. When we called booking to complain about, suddenly it appeared that they have “hammam” working. Of course they made it up to avoid refund/cancellation. Later, when we wanted to take a hammam treatment, they took us to the dirty room with housekeeping/cleaning facilities inside and we were informed that the housekeeper of the hotel will do our hammam treatments. Ridiculous, not? In a short, this place is fraud! Even though it is called "riad and spa", they dont have proper facilities for spa and they are not transparent/honest about what facilities they have. Addition to that, the man worked in receptionist was very rude and it seemed he hated his job. He was completely unhelpful during our stay and could not accommodate any simple request we had. Breakfast was not fresh either and if you need to leave riad earlier than 8 am, they expect you not kindly ask but beg for early breakfast. Just note that, in any other riad we stayed in Morocco, we were given an early breakfast when we requested it day before.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent. Good reception.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the beautiful patio with fabulous wall deco, furniture and fountain in the middle. Such a calm and relaxing space. The staff was very nice and helpful. The diner was delicious. Eating authentic food at an authentic atmosphere of this old riad is definitely part of Moroccan experiences, worthwhile trying. I fully recommend Riad Zamane.
Cons: No issue about this wonderful riad. — In the neighborhood, some youths / children idling at the street were sometimes noisy (including late at night) and annoying. This may be a common issue for many different riads located in the same street. 7.5 Good
Pros: Main atrium was beautiful and ornate, the suite had a nice private terrace. Staff member Abu was also very friendly and helped us to feel at home
Cons: Bedroom and bathroom were tired, and we would have appreciated a duvet. We were also asked to return the key on leaving the riad for dinner as they only had one! We were also asked to pay the bill in cash which wasnt mentioned on booking through this site, which caused a little inconvenience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: So very quiet to rest and Abdou went above and beyond with his service

Pros: Friendly staff, rooms were clean, perfect location. Manager of Riad was super friendly and helped us a lot with our requests. Definetely recommend it for couples!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed here during our 5-day trip to Fez and loved it, very calm and relaxing place and the staff is so amazing. They were some of the friendliest people we met during our 2-month journey in Morocco. Breakfast is lovely, and the location makes it very easy to reach the Blue Gate and other attractions via taxi (no getting lost finding your way through the medina, unless of course you want to ;)). Wifi was good for us digital nomads, our room was cleaned regularly, and I can't stress enough how awesome the staff were - we felt like they were family by the time we left. Thank you so much Dar Anebar, we will never forget you!!! Best wishes from Carly & Luke

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is clean and beautiful. I can feel the way of arabian family lives in this house. The breakfast is great, a very satisfied breakfast.
Cons: We had 2 people, if our room can have 2 chair for each of us, it would be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Atmospheric riad, spacious room, decorated under Morrocan architecture! Colourful tiles, king size bed! Amazing view from the terrace!Helpful staff, especially Aziz! Don't forget to search for Mehir to walk you through the labyrinth of the Medina!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This Riad (hotel) is located close to the edge but within the old city (Medina) – it requires assistance to access, as taxis and other wheeled vehicles have no direct access. The Riad will arrange to meet your taxi at the closest main gate. It features a beautiful atrium, three stories in height, and onto which all the rooms have a direct outlook. There is also a roof terrace with recreation area and good views of the city. While there is no elevator, the obliging staff are only too willing to carry your suitcases to your room. A traditional breakfast is included in the tariff, and a limited-menu dinner can also be provided at an additional charge if desired. The proprietor, Ahmed, is friendly and obliging. For example, he arranged to purchase a train ticket for me so that I did not need to make a special trip to the train station (online ticket purchases seem to be restricted to those with a Moroccan credit card). The free wi-fi worked well, and the rooms were elegant and charming, with an old-world, Arabic ambience. Ahmed also arranged for an English-speaking Guide for me, as it would be impossible to negotiate the narrow streets, lanes and alleyways of the Medina without a Guide. Fortunately, the Medina in Fez does not permit wheeled vehicles of any kind (except small trolleys), which is a great advantage over the equivalent precinct in Marrakech, where you take your life into your hands as the sometimes fast-moving scooters etc. negotiate their way around obstacles such as pedestrians! Fez uses donkeys and mules to transport heavier loads through the streets and laneways of the Medina (beware the manure).
Cons: I did find, however, that the lighting level in my room was a bit too low for functional requirements. My only criticism was that my Guide appeared to be nothing more than a tout for various tourist venues and retail establishments. At every stop, I was passed over to a merchant who started doing a sales pitch. I told the Guide I wasn't really interested in buying tourist souvenirs, but he took no notice (he's probably on a commission).

Pros: The design and decor of the riad was outstanding. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast, and amazing dinner.
Cons: Wifi wasn't stable No TVs available in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Positions, details, room and rooftop
Cons: There’s no a kitchen free if the guets would likte to eat something
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a perfect stay here ! The whole Riad is beautiful ,with finest decoration !Everything is fine here ! The food is fresh and good !The staff is helpful and nice ! The room is tidy and spacious. When you bathing , you will hear some songs from the birds outside !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great-- pastries, bread, eggs, sometimes fruit, coffee, and fresh squeezed juice. The room was gorgeous and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, if a little small compared to our riad in Marrakech of comparable cost. The food at the restaurant for dinner is much better than most riad restaurants. Extremely well flavored and delicate, with elegant presentation and some modern tweaks on traditional Moroccan dishes. Definitely recommend eating here at least once during your stay, if not more! The common areas were really the standout-- the central open air courtyard, the libraries and sitting rooms, and the spa were all beautiful and each decorated a little bit differently-- modern, traditional Berber, eclectic. I wish the fountains and water features had been working, as that would have just added the little extra "oomph" that would have set it over the top. The spa and hammam were our favorite of our entire multi-week stay in Morocco-- and we went to 4 different ones, ranging from local and cheap, to fancy and Western at 5-star hotels. Not only were the facilities beautiful and calm, but both of our attendants (hammam, and then masseuse) gave us the best treatments we experienced in the country! Both were comparable to service we would expect at a high-end American spa. They have laundry service, which is especially valuable when you have been traveling for awhile. The rooftop terrace is amazing, and probably the best part of the property. You have a beautiful view of the sunset, and they will bring you your breakfast or mint tea to sip while you are up there. While we were there, a family of kittens was always playing around. Gorgeous! I wish there were more lounge chairs/shaded pavilions to better take advantage of the view.
Cons: There are no hand rails to help you up and down the steep stairs, which was problematic for my older, retired parents. This made it especially difficult for them to take advantage of the terrace. The location is just okay. Certainly walkable to the souqs and major sites, but not in the middle of them. I would advise staying closer to the Blue Gate if you want to to be closer to that. Still, it is relatively near a good plaza where a taxi can drop you off, and then the staff will come meet you and transfer your luggage. It made it quiet, and more residential with more locals.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Even before we arrived we were so pleased with the communication by Otmane and his staff! In all our years of travel there have been only I'd say a handful of places that have provided service like they did and we had not even checked in yet! When we arrived Otmane had sent a staff member to great and take us the Riad which was very helpful! Now the journey truly begins on the outside it is an unassuming Riad but the second you enter the doors you are taken aback by the beauty of the entrance and riad! Otmane was ever so kind to accommodate our requests and help guide us on places to go even though we came late in the day! You are greeted with mint tea and snacks while your bags are recieved by the staff taken to your suite. The suite was a Moroccan/French dream! We fell in love with it immediately and every detail was magnificent. The terrace is the real gem you can see the entire Medina and at sunrise it is beautiful. Otmane and the staff were amazing and we will be staying here during our next visit!! This place is special!
Cons: There is nothing we didn't like!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly & accommodating staff, beautiful rooms, Riad well located near the souks. Dinner was good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building, room, terrace, and library. Wonderful staff and hospitality. We truly loved it and recommend staying here to all.
Cons: Location is a little bit hard to reach because it is in Médina but the hotel staff was always kind and helpful to escort us to get the taxi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The room looked absolutely amazing and was so cozy. The general director went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. They also organised a guided tour for us although we were very last minute.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place is well decorated and has very good vibes. Rooms offer a lot of intimacy!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The neighbourhood is one of the happiest I’ve experienced in a long time. Service staff are eager to please and location is great, minutes walk from good food and the market.
Cons: Our suite was located on the third floor with steep steps, something to consider if you are lazy or travelling with elderly. The shower area could be better designed with a partition to prevent water from splashing into common areas.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice and decent Moroccan styled environment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was large and spacious, great location. The Médina is a big city made up of over 9,000 alley ways so when arriving it was easy to reach the Raid, which is located within the medina ways but the taxi can drop you off very close with a short walk. The staff were welcoming and were happy to talk to us and suggest where to go as well as making us feel at home.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice foyer Breakfast quite good Ok location, quiet Opinion probably affected by below
Cons: There was a problem with the hot water Notified staff first morning, but they passed it off as other guests using all the hot water. Had tepid shower in the afternoon. Tried having an earlier shower the next morning, again no hot water. Immediately complained again and asked to be moved and speak to manager. Staff then said there was a leak and would attend to it but would move me to a different property for my last night, which they did with all assistance. Think there was a reluctance of staff to be completely honest with situation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luxurious spacious room on the ground floor was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and very helpful in making out stay a pleasant experience. They were very helpful in providing information for getting around Fes and booking a guide and transport. Always willing to provide tea,hot water etc at any time and always with a smile.
6.3 Good
Pros: The men at the reception were very kind.
Cons: We had a free upgrade to a biggest room, but it was smelling bad and didn't look very clean, especially the barhroom
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The riad foyer is very impressive - some sort of Andalusien architecture. It was very pleasant to sit there and surf in the internet in all tranquility. The rooms are good furnished. The staff is very helpfull, open minded and extremely taking care of its guests. The breakfast was good - Natural orange juice/caffe/bread/cheese/sweets/kacke... actually all what I needed to start my day.. Each person is being served personally by the staff. The staff always helped me parking my hired car near the Riad for no fees which is to thank them for that. Parking mostly always will cost you in Morocco as the rest of the world. I have arrived one night earlier and mr. Mohammed the owner of the riad helped me to find a room on a short notice and more he has sent his employee to receive me and then guide me to a second riad he owns. I thank him for that - mr. Mohammed always responded to my messages on Whatsup in a matter of few minutes....
Cons: What i‘m writing here is related indirectly to the Riad. It‘s about the tour guide. I have asked the staff to book me one for three hours. He came at the morning. I‘m a person who is interested in history and culture. After one hour he collected a group of french girls in the old city in other riad (to maximize his profit on that day). And so he had to explain in 2 languages. He has taken the liberty and didn't make the effort to explain much a bout the history of Fes: - 30% of the time was spent visiting some historical places - 70% of the time was for shopping - jumping from one store to another. Clearly he has some deal With the shops where he gets provisions on each buy.... It was somehow bizarre for me and the group.... He was a manipulative person. It was not professional and he deserves merely 2 stars out of 5. The money he insisted to have he also didn’t deserve point and a new line.
7.5 Good
Pros: so so
Cons: too expensive for eating and drinking, and the facility of shower is poor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Although we only stayed 1 night in Fez, we absolutely had a great time. Mohammed, the host was really kind and helpful. We had to leave early for our flight the next morning so we didnt have time to eat our breakfast, so he gave us a breakfast takeaway, which we really appreciated, we were able to eat it at the airport instead of buying. Oh and the room was splendid!!!! Totally recommend this Riad!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From arrival we were made to feel absolutely welcome. Our room was incredible, the location is right by the old Medina (and the staff were so helpful in making sure we didn’t get lost), and the food is delicious (try the Moroccan soup and the beef tagine)! The owner is absolutely lovely and allowed us to swim at one of his other riads, the rooftop terrace is super cute and I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff are. We will be returning on our next trip to Morocco!
Cons: Don’t get hustled by the locals on your way to the Medina, it is easy to find yourself and they will try to take money off you.
7.1 Good
Pros: General atmosphere was good.
Cons: The smallest room seems to also be the least desired room by the Riad.

Pros: It was our fist time in morocco and and arrived late at night and we were still greeted by hassan and salah which are the 2 persons that run the hotel. They are very helpful, humble and caring persons and always smiling and ready to help you in all your needs. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was to die for. Top notch service!!!!

Pros: Such a cute riad, very close to the media. The view from the balcony is beautiful. And the most of all, the staff are so friendly and helpful.
6.3 Good
Pros: The stuff was really nice and kind and the room was really big , clean and beautiful.
Cons: The braekfast was not good at all, the food wasnt fresh and really dry, but Hasen bought for us a new bread and in the end we had what to eat, but i think you sould make the food at the morning and not just to warm up in a microwave. The secand thing is that the tap in the shower was broken and also in the toilet and it was really hard to use it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Riad, excellent location and friendly staff who were very kind and friendly to us. My mum made friends with all of them
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendly helpful staff, big room, air con, very beautiful decor. Cup of tea on arrival and provided hot water for us to make our own tea in the afternoon.
Cons: The breakfast needed a bit more variety.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, the breakfast delicious and the staff very kind. The location is great!
Cons: The bathroom could be improved
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was good. Close to Médina and quite. There was terrace which is nice.
Cons: I guess it’s common to all Riads I stayed: didn’t like the smell of place. There is always strong aromatic smell that is masking another smell. Also I didn’t enjoy the toilet room that is in a basement floor. Which means you don’t have any door to toilet and bath. It’s just a big hole on the floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is stunning, right out of a storybook tale. A "thousand-nights" ambience. The staff will go out of their way to help you: Sultan, Salah, Hassan, Emane. Especially Hamza, who is the guide and driver for the sightseeing, was extremely helpful end supporting during a walk around the inner part of the old medina. I owe this guy a lot, because he acted like a real brother in a complicated situation there. Thank you for everything, brother!
Cons: Very difficult to mention a negative aspect to the riad.

Cons: Laundry was expensive to get done (although did come back very promptly!) The room was lovely but could do with updating/refreshing (new air con, new towels)

Pros: Beautiful place with very nice people. They do everything to help you. The breakfast on the roof felt very special. Also, it was a nice experience to be able to swim inside a riad! And the beautiful hall took our breath away. We didn't try the hamam, since we prefered to go to a local one, it costs less. And for those who'd like to know: the jacuzzi costs 150.000 MAD per person for 30 minutes. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Pros: Our stay at the Palais d'Hôtes was extremely pleasant. The hotel was magnificent and the suites and facilities were exceptional. The hotel staff, especially Rachid, were extremely accommodating and met our every request. I would highly recommended the in-house hammam.

Pros: Very beautiful riad, with a big swimming pool and spa. When we arrived in the evening, they gave us some Moroccan tea and pastries. Nice big terrace where you can enjoy the views while having breakfast or dinner. Delicious breakfast, you can choose what you like. All the staff was very polite and supportive, special thanks to Mehdi at the reception - very attentive and helpful, provided us all the information and even changed the room to a superior one for the second night. We were leaving early in the morning, and they prepared a little take away breakfast. Highly recommended.

Pros: The grand junior room which we were upgraded to for free was superb. Breakfast on the terrace was second to none the views were spectacular over the Médina. So much more for your money then Marrakesh. Would recommend this Riad.
Cons: If I had to pick, was a little scared of the lift. But the stairs were fine.

Cons: That breakfast wasn't included in the price.

Pros: Nice place. I love it❤️
4.2 Okay
Pros: The hotel is ok but nothing to write home about. The first patio is nice and the view from the terrace also.
Cons: It is a bit out of the action and taxi is needed to get around. I forgot 2 night dress and called the hotel but was told that no one found them... My cousin and I had to doble check everytime we changed money as some change was always missing. Bad smell from the bathroom. Food ok but quite regular
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything, location, staff professionalism, cleanliness, food quality and beautiful decoration and architecture based on traditional artistic themes and crafts.
Cons: Confusing layout, leading you through small corridors to get to your room or the top floor restaurants. The beds were not giving the support we expected, we were always rolling to one side. That's all I can think of.

Pros: Everything thing Staff, food, riad decoration Easy access able by car if you travel by car
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Kind personnel, a hotel that looks like a renovated palace, nice pool, location very close to the medina and the royal gardens, free parking, and a room that was clean and spacious. Oh, and an excellent breakfast.
Cons: Very bad pillows, the room’s air condition wasn’t very effective. There were problems with the hot water in our bathroom and I ended up having a cold shower two days in a row. The spa services are way overpriced and not good at all, a 50 min massage costs 60 euros and feels like the girl is bored. The Moroccan food in the hotel restaurant is a disappointment - the tajine was not tasty at all, while the European menu is slightly better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: The breakfast was poor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet location right at the entrance of the medina.
7.5 Good
Pros: the location is good, around 15mins walk to Medina
Cons: the choice of breakfast is limit. One thing we felt not good was we called the reception if there were any scissors that could be lent to us, the reception replied no, but you can go out and buy them by yourself. For us who stayed in Fez for the first night, we didn’t know where to buy and it was 10PM at that time, we also didn’t think it was safe for two girls to out. When I double checked with reception, there was no any other way? We only got “Em….mmmmmm” from he.

Cons: Restaurant need to book before several hours

Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, amazing pool and excellent location
Cons: The roof terrace was being refurbished while we were there so were unable to use it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best accommodation I've ever stayed in. It was so authentically Moroccan and the staff were so accommodating. Plus amazing breakfast and food (even if they were European prices).
Cons: Some rooms are quite high up, so if stairs are a problem you might want to check your room but for us this was no problem.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Meals were amazing. Service was top notch. Everything was just beautiful. We felt like we had a beautiful palace all to ourselves. Great staff. Very safe.
Cons: Pool was very cold. Difficult to find off the alley. We didn’t like the Medina at all. Parking is a huge hassle and the parking lot swindlers almost ruined our arrival. Horrible to drive into.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It was even better than the photos. I had some of the best food here for my entire time spent in morocco. The hotel staff were so attentive and so friendly, I absolutely love this place and would recommend anyone visiting Fez to stay here. one of the two nights spent here was very entertaining. Whilst my friend and I were enjoying dinner near the pool, people were playing traditional music, doing henna, and a tour group were also enjoying a cooking class run by the hotel. very happy with the experience
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean and large rooms. Very quite. Top room was really nice.
Cons: Residential part of Medina, lacks attention to detail in both service and look and feel. Was expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best thing about this riad is the staff. They are all very helpful. Zechariah speaks about 5 languages as far as I can tell and is enormously helpful. Mohammed is very helpful too, as was Nordine. The owner is lucky to have such a good team. The riad itself is very beautiful. We had a lovely suite called Habiba, named after the owner's wife. The food was good - we ate dinner there twice and the breakfasts were generous. Two tips - there is parking very near by, about 200m from the riad. If you pay them generously (say 30 Dirham per 24 hours) they will make sure you always have a space whenever you return and our car was perfectly safe for 5 days, coming and going as we pleased. Secondly the riad is not signposted from the road. You should look for the pharmacie Fatima and park there. Ignore any unofficial guides - the riad is just around the back and you can ask directions from the shop. If you go in winter wrap up warm at night when out and about. It gets close to freezing!
Cons: The roof terrace is not yet open - I hear that the owner has grand plans for it following the purchase of a third riad next door, which they will knock through and create more rooms and more social space. But this won't be ready for use until later in 2019.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and large room with good amenities.
Cons: The riad could have added a hot pot and tea and coffee in the room. But they were her prompt in giving us hot water whenever we asked for it
6.0 Good
Pros: Courtyard was beautiful and relaxing
Cons: Everything about this experience was horrible. After making a reservation through Kayak, I contacted the Riad directly to check if they can arrange for an extra bed in the room. The Riad said they didn’t have my reservation so I sent along the reservation confirmation I received from Kayak’s partner site. The Riad subsequently responded and said that they didn’t have any rooms so they would accommodate us at Road Myra which was generally in the same location and looked good online so I agreed as long as the same requirements and rates would be honored. The Riad continued to communicate with me about airport transfer etc which lead me to believe that the same owners or management staff manages both the roads. When we got to Riad Myra, it was a horrible experience. At first, they claimed that they didn’t have my reservation, didn’t communicate clearly, didn’t tell us about Riad amenities (we were coming from marrkech and had a wonderful experience at 2 roads here), and proceeded to give us a shitty standard room with such low ceilings that we felt claustrophobic. When I told them that I had booked a suite and absolutely needed it starting next day since our third friend was arriving they said they would move us the next day. Next day, on inquiring about airport transfer for my friend, they acted clueless. Then called the original Riad and proceeded to take over the arrangement . When I asked them to adjust the room price given we didn’t get the suite on first night, the manager, Salma said she would talk to the other Riad. Subsequently Salma avoided all eye contact and communication with me for next 3 days. On the final day she got one of the porters to settle the dues and I requested to speak with her regarding my question. She reluctantly called, spoke to the other Riad on phone (which she had clearly not done before as promised), gave me vague answers and proceeded to charge me 40 € extra per night for my third friend although we had agreed to to 30 € in prior communication on email. Overall I recommend everyone to stay away from road al amine fes and Riad Myra. I urge the management to ensure staff and especially manager, Salma doesn’t ruin the guest experience.

Pros: I spent nearly a month in Morocco staying in numerous love at ions throughout the country, and I can say unequivocally that Riad El Amine Fez was the nicest of all! The staff was welcoming the moment I arrived. The Riad was beautiful and unlike many who have a covering over the courtyard permanently Riad El Amine Fez employed a retractable cover above the courtyard that they were not shy to open up.and enhance the ambiance & magical Moroccan light of this enchanting accommodation. I would be remiss if I didn't also didn't say I had the two finest meals in my entire stay in Morocco! As we say in the US, this wonderful & unexpected home away from home, was a Home Run!!! The staff arranged for an all day trip with my special request for a fluent English speaker in the Middle Atlas Mountains that was simply sublime, and I would express my many thanks to Mustafa for the memories that'll last a lifetime in this magical place that this Riad helped play a significant part!!!
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal for visiting the Medina. The staff tried very hard and were very friendly.
Cons: There was building work going on within the Riad which mean't that we were unable to use the roof terrace. This wasn't explained to us prior to our booking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My attractive, quiet room, plus the excellent breakfast with delicious coffee/hot milk, freshly squeezed orange juice, omelette and a selection of bread/Moroccan pastries, all served with style and care.
Cons: I suggested a bedside light in my room would have helped reading at night, but this is comment, not criticism

Pros: The owner Mohammed is awesome, he explains me everything about Fes and it was amazing. I have to say thank you at the guy work in the night, my mother was sick and he helped me to find a pharmacy and buy somethings around the city with taxi. Also the other guy and the ladies work there is really friendly and helpful. I feel like at Home. The room is big and comfortable and if you need something the guys for sure help you. The best staff ever. If you come to Fes you should stay here. Ryad Taryana is the best!!!
Cons: Everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The riad arranged for our taxi transfer from the train station, which was definitely good to do because it was a bit overwhelming when we first arrived in Fes. Staff met us at our taxi, walked us to the hotel, and took the time to explain the area with a map and extra information. The view from the roof was lovely and the breakfast in the morning was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Location near Bouinania Mosqe. Great breakfast. We stayed here the second time and we will come back. Near and safe Parking at Bab Boujloud.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had a great variety of breads with delicious honey and amazing jams. The front manager was extremely helpful and did beyond to make our stay n Fez good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Too helpful staff, especially Khalid, welcomed us at the Blue Gate so we did not get lost in Fes' straits and explained how to get into the city. The next day, because we would leave very early and would not have breakfast, he gave us orange juices and croissants for the trip. The Riad is very well located at the beginning of Fes Medina and between the 2 main streets and it is easy to navigate the city
Cons: Sound insulation was in his minus
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Riad Taryana is very beautiful and in great location. Mohammed speaks very good English and extremely nice and helpful. I had diarrea one day and he accompanied me to a pharmacy for medicines.
Cons: Nothing.
7.5 Good
Cons: The hotel and room were both beautiful, which is why it's too bad the people at the front desk are trying to hustle their guests out of money. When we told them we would be eating breakfast in a cafe outside instead of their 5 euro hotel breakfast they tried everything to make us pay -- first saying what a good deal it was (it wasn't) and then trying to say we agreed to pay it as part of our Booking reservation (this isn't part of any Booking reservation). They also tell everyone that if they want to see the medina they have to hire a guide through them. This is a lie, anyone can walk around the medina without a guide. Our room heater also stopped working after the first night and no one was able to fix it. The tragic part is that the rooms are so nice that they could just charge more and it would still be worth it, and then they wouldn't have to hustle the guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality from this Riad was great. The man that worked there was friendly and always willing to help. Mohammed the owner/manager was also very helpful in organizing a tour from Fes to Volubilis and Meknes. He went out his way to find others to go on the tour with us to help keep the cost down and an enjoyable day was had by all. The rooms were a standard Riad and were kept in a clean state. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan one and was filling. Overall a good stay and made more than welcome by workers.
Cons: The only downside to Riad Taryana was the WiFi connection was rather poor in the room we had. The router was located in the main area and had to put phone out the room window for it to connect sometimes.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice, authentic and clean room, in the middle of old town. Very nice hotel building and helpful hosts.
Cons: The room is a bit dark and the breakfast a bit boring.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very impressed of the interior design of the riad. It is a hidden gem! The host, Mohhamed was very kind, helpful and passionate to provide whatever needed, with an extra bonus of orientation in Fes history. Breakfast was more than adequate with local products. And last but not least it was very clean in every aspect.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was convenient, close to the main attractions
Cons: The staff are fantastic. Cannot praise them enough
6.3 Good
Pros: Really good location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is great if you like to explore the Medina which is only steps away. There are a number of cafes in the Medina who serve excellent food at great prices. My suite The Andelous was very comfortable and had free wifi.
Cons: I thought the breakfasts could have been a little more imaginative! The fresh orange juice was delicious! Some fresh fruit would have been nice. It was a bit of a nuisance not having a key for the outside door which meant you had to ring the bell every time you wanted access to the riad! Hajar the manageress was a real gem! She was so helpful and always with a lovely smile on her face. Nothing was too much trouble for her, whether it was making a reservation for a hammam or writing down a destination in Arabic to give to a taxi driver! On the other hand, one of the male staff members was extremely rude to a guest of mine who visited me in the riad! The same gentleman asked if I would like breakfast on the morning of my departure. As I had a car reserved to take me to the airport at 5am. I declined his offer but said a glass of juice would be welcome! He said he would give me a wake up call at 4.30am. I am still waiting for the call and the orange juice!!! He appeared, bleary eyed as I was leaving the riad, having answered the main door myself when my car driver knocked!!!!!! I understand he was quite new to the job but needs to be properly trained to deal with guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Riad Les Ramparts de Fes was absolutely wonderful. Our room was gorgeous, and the adjoining rooftop terrace had a spectacular view over the whole city. The location could not be better, just across the street from the entrance to the Medina. Finally, as if that were not enough, the Riad is run by extraordinary people; Hajar went far beyond anything anyone could expect to make sure all was well--and it was!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: First of all the stuff was exceptionally helpful and very friendly. The location of the Riad is perfect and easily accessible. The taxi stopped 50m away. The room was quite big and clean with a stunning bathroom and nice towels. As for the breakfast room, it is adorable with trees and a small Fontane in the middle where you can relax and enjoy your breakfast.
Cons: The only problem was that the breakfast room was exactly outside of our room and during the breakfast time it was noisy hence both days we woke up too early from the noise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Charming interier, very good position in the Medina and parking nearby.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: good sized room. spacious riad. literally only 50 meters from the medina.
Cons: staff should not be surprised if the guest ask for a receipt when you pay cash. the staff was surprised expounding on Moroccan hospitality, saying it is not necessary.
7.5 Good
Pros: The building itself is beautiful, the terrace has a panoramic view (this is a big selling point in Morocco) and feels like a safer part of town.
Cons: We asked for a bottle of wine to be ready- they replied that it would be no problem, but it did not exist.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The riad is beautiful. The Azure Room ist my favourite, I booked it a second time in Fes. It is spacious, has a lot of charm, nice bathroom and a balcony. A wonderful Riad with a lot of potential.
Cons: The room was for my very sensitive nose a bit smellier than I remembered.. I would find out what is there the source and fix it. Everything looks very clean, so I am sure it is nothing bad. The breakfast was very basic.. if you don't like jam or olives every day in the morning...there is nothing else (besides olive oil and basic honey). The organge juice was probably good, like everytime in Marocco, but my glas had a big fingerprint on it...It is a small detail that only for some people matter - I like clean glases ... Even if the scores are right and the riad still stays beautiful, I recommend constant improvement like: one more little dish for breakfast (i.e. omlet, eggs, fruits...) or more atention to detail regarding their presentation. Maybe a bit of music in the background for the breakfast time? Something to cover up the noise of the working personal and get a more relaxed athmosphere. I know that the singing birds are a delight, but if you are the only guest eating at that time, it does feel a bit awkard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All to our expectations. Quite location within the Medina. Roof terrace really enjoyable and relaxing. Comfortable bed with fresh clean linen. Big bathroom with instant hot water.
Cons: No negative comments

Pros: Location Friendly staff Facility decor Room was changed to a city view (better than mountain view)
Cons: Rundown Furniture needs upgrade No tomato Juice to make bloody mary's :-)
4.6 Okay
Pros: The position is awesome and the terrace view in amazing.
Cons: Just avoid it. Staff had a bad behaviour and never made us feel confortable (The only time in our week in marocco). Rooms were old and dirty, the shower worked bad and the pool was not clean. A 3 star at best.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Upgrades and breakfast
Cons: Dining: service; limited menu; messy buffet
5.8 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location, breakfast (expensive) and pool.
Cons: Room wasn't ready until 15h15. Electricity plugs broken in the room. Wet carpet in the bathroom. When turning on the air-conditioning, it smelled really bad. Most of the TV channels weren't working. And most important; we had a reservation for a daughter as well (baby bed was normally included) but we didn't receive the bed as mentioned in the confirmation. As we were travelling and had a long journey behind us we hadn't the energy to complain and ask for another room. We just wanted to rest. We received an invoice without any discount, while they already had received all complaints.
5.8 Okay
Pros: View from location over the Medina
Cons: Seriously outdated
4.6 Okay
Pros: It was nice and set on its own grounds.
Cons: Far from everywhere and you have to walk far to get a taxi or get the hotel to call you one who will then charge you an extortionate price.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast
Cons: Rooms need updated.
7.9 Good
Pros: The views from the hotel rooms were great. All rooms face something interesting- Médina, mountains, ruins. The breakfast was good. The room was quite comfortable and very spacious- it has a desk and chair and a massive bed with enough room to walk around.
Cons: Given that it is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, it fell short being a good 5-star instead it was a great 4-star hotel. Few fruits in our room were rotten, the room would have this damp smell after being shut for a few hours. The food at the restaurant wasn’t good, and instead tasted quite bland.
7.9 Good
Pros: Luxury place, nice view of town, beautiful design
Cons: Far from medina, poor choice of food at restaurant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly. Nice view terrasse. Very relaxed atmosfer. I loved it
5.7 Okay
Pros: The Hotel is very clean and well looked after. Loads of staff everywhere maintaining the upkeep of the property at all times. We thought it very well appointed if you don't want to madness of the Medina. It was a 15 minute walk into the Medina (albiet crossing a main road on the way) so you can jump into the craziness quite quickly but a 15 minute walk back and you're next to the pool on a lounger.
Cons: The only thing we'd say is that the hotel is very bland. You could be anywhere in the world really. The usual touristy buffet for breakfast (but hey it's included and its not bad), dodgy night time entertainment that boarders on bad Karaoke (I could sing better), young families and older tourists with bum bags and the pricing is high compared to eating/drinking in the Medina. For what we wanted though (a quiet pool holiday with something interesting to do when we got bored) it fulfilled what we were after.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view was very charming.
Cons: The restaurant was not at the level of a 5 star hotel, the service was really low and the food was not good at all.
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious hotel outside Fez. Location outside the crowded and hot medina gives the advantage above a night in a riad in tghe medina. Easy acces.
Cons: The brochure promised traditional Maroc cuisine. Nothing seen of this on the menu.
6.0 Good
Pros: we liked everything but the internet is just so bad that it takes more than 25 minuites toopen up a link and does not work atall in the rooms.
6.3 Good
Cons: We were only given the buffet food option and would have liked to have been able to have a la carte options, rather than self-service with a coach party
6.4 Good
Pros: Superb location overlooking the old city of Fes, good rate, helpful staff, large comfortable room, pleasant terraces and lounges with wonderful views, quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, convenient for old city and new cities, good Moroccan restaurant.
Cons: No heating although the weather was cold (mid November), problem with smell of drains in the first room offered - we had to change, breakfast/dinner in international restaurant mediocre.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The outdoor spaces and common spaces were picturesque, good for photos.
Cons: Our room bed was definitely not conformable, we had to pay for everything up front including our stay upon our arrival, our dinner, any services used by the hotel, pay certain things my cash only? The service is generally non existent or bad. The staff seems disorganized and stressed probably from poor management. The location is up on a steep inclined hill where the entrance is also very difficult to find. The reception also doesn't respond to any inquiries you have before your arrival. There are better places in fes i'm sure to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: It's hard to find
5.4 Okay
Pros: The breakfasts were great and the staff very attentive. The location was good for discovering the Medina. We could not use the the swiming pool because it was not warmed. The weather was too cold for this activity, unfortunately. The second room had a view on the indie of the riad, above the swimming pool.
Cons: The first room I booked was a standard junior room with twin beds. My friend could not sleep because of the smell of the bathroom and the humidity of the room. She is an asthmatic. The view was on a side street with no view on the riad. They upgraded us on an ambassador room, that was much better. Anyway, the price is quite expensive for the facilities proposed. We could not use the the swiming pool because it was not warmed. The weather was too cold for this activity, unfortunately. The internet connection was a mess except for the living room downstairs, were we could have diner. They had it fixed on the last day :(
7.5 Good
Cons: - The location was a little edgy, specially since we arrived after midnight. - The hotel was too quiet.
7.5 Good
Pros: Classic opulent Riad within Medina with wonderful garden. Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds and Good breakfast. Parking onsite possible with rear access.
Cons: Unfortunately Internet was woeful
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location. Large property
Cons: Very old needing reverberation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fabulous time at Riad Arabesque! We were unsure given reviews on other sites but decided to take a punt and it was nothing short of great. The highlight was the property - the architecture and mosaics are beautiful and definitely showcase local culture. The property is great, it is overlooking the Medina and as it is on the very outskirts of the Medina it feels like an oasis. Breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking a large green garden - it is a nice escape from the Medina and peaceful to come back after a busy day to spend the afternoon. Breakfast is large and lovely and the staff are particularly helpful and welcoming. The rooms are large and very clean - we would highly recommend.
Cons: Drinks at the bar seemed quite expensive however they appear to be on par with other hotels.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There is no doubt that this raid is the most beautiful one in my entire Moroccan trip (I changed my riad daily XD), as it is located a bit far away from the center, it is quite quiet and relaxing. The house is elegance with the professional staff, they are hard working and sincere, the service provided just like in a hotel. The breakfast is delicious.
Cons: some renovation area outside the riad & a bit far away from center, but you can have a full view of Fez here and see the other aspect of Fez. That's nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: great location... great views over the Medina..
Cons: our room opened to the pool and so didn't feel so private.. and had no window to the outside really.. just to the pool which was inside
