Lake Side Bungalow

The property had a pool. The staff were friendly. The night market is a 15min walk away. The aircon worked.

On arrival the lady at reception didnt speak any English and the card machine wasn’t working so we had to pay in cash which was a massive inconvenience for us. Also we were put on the phone to someone who wasnt very clear on what was going on until later. The room had plenty of mosquitoes as well as two geckos which made loud noise all night, a caterpillar,spiders and centipedes in the bathroom and a massive cockroach. To be clear we did not leave the door or windows open at any point to let these guys in. The wifi didn’t work in the rooms but did work in reception. The location is a 15minute walk to the beach/main road. The bed was uncomfortable.

The bungalows were quite old but it was alright for the price you had to pay. The swimming pool was really nice and the people were great. Stayed here for 2 nights.

- the owner was really nice and give us scooter for a nice price - I liked the surroundings even tho it was a bit creepy at night - it's okay but only for one night or two

- the room/ equipment are really odd, and it wasn't cleaned up: they were some little wood, coming probably from the ceiling, which were everywhere on the bed - we found few cockroaches but I guess it's normal since it was next to a lake - it's a bit far from the beach and center-> take it only if you rent a scooter they should take more care about the rooms in my opinion
