Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Ljubljana, Si

A typical business hotel. Although it is situated outside the center of the city, the location is excellent for travelling around since it is next to the motorway. The hotel have a deal with a taxi company who will take you to the city center for €5. The adjoining trading park has some excellent eateries which are very good value.

There are four lifts, two at each end of the hotel. Since it has fifteen floors, this can be inadequate, especially since the hotel is used by bus tour groups who arrive & depart together causing long waits. Also only one lift goes down to the car park.

We like location, hotel is near to everything we like. Hotel is nice and very good designed and view from rooms is amazing. Reception people are very professional and great.

When hotel was open (with name Plaza) - quality was great. But after Radisson Blu bought it, it is very different. Design of hotel is the same, but every where you can see that they want to save some money. Pillow are very old, and we have to ask for others. Toiletries (even we were 3 persons in room) was only for 1 person. Towels are old and 1 day were for 2 person, another day for 1 etc. Breakfast is ok, but for people who do not eat every sort of meat, you do not know what they offer. Some headlines tags will be helping. Also, we must say that lady called Kelemendi was a great help on breakfast. She made as feel like at home. She was greeting us on breakfast and even she remembered how we like our eggs and coffee. Last day was another lady and she avoided every eye contact and option to ask her for coffee or something. So, that warmness depends of stuff. Parking is also an issue. When you want to go out from hotel parking - sometimes open fast, sometimes you have to drive and wait a lot to be opened. That system is very odd and need some better logistic.

The rooms was nice.

The breakfast was sub-par and the AC in the room only worked like a fan.
