Best Western London Peckham Hotel

Breakfast was ok with a good choice One gentleman on reception was extremely helpful sadly couldn’t say same about the rest .

The fact we arrived ready for lunch and the restaurant or onsite cafe was not available The bedroom was far too hot couldn’t even sit in there for a drink The bedrooms are sadly so small for this reason we had to upgrade so this cost is extra money and had we have known we would have chose a more expensive hotel in the first place We were very sad

Ideal location, friendly staff member while checking in, breakfast included with my room. The decor is interesting rather than bland and samey like most chain hotels.

Building work going on so the entire building is covered in scaffold running right past the room window allowing people to see in. Curtains had to be kept closed the whole time. The room is tiny, barely big enough to fit a double bed an walk around. The bathroom was also tiny and there was a strong drain smell which was spreading into the room if the door was open for too long. The free wifi ideal and IMO should always be included with hotel rooms but it would constantly cut out and have to be reconnected. The Pizzas in the restaurant are great but the rest of the food doesn't look the best. The fish and chips looks like something I could get out of a box in my freezer and enjoy it more. When going into the restaurant a staff member just grunted and gestured to pick a table. Breakfast was miserable with bad coffee, stale pastries and a luke warm full english.

Bar staff was rude an security watched us in such an intimidating way we left the bar horrible atmosphere
