An old coffee pickers´ lodgings has been transformed into the Hostel Hacienda Venecia, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and paths amongst the coffee groves. The hostel has three dormitories (two for eight people and another for four) with 2 shared bathrooms. This pretty corner of the Hacienda offers a garden with fruit trees, an open kitchen, small shop, free coffee and purified water and a camping area. Each bed has a large locker, bedside shelf, and small locker with a plug socket inside.
Ingredients for breakfast are provided free of charge every morning, and for lunch and dinner basic supplies are available to buy in the shop for cooking (or you can bring your own!). Hostel residents are free to use the outdoor swimming pool and Wi-Fi at the Guesthouse Hacienda Venecia, a 10-minutes-walk from the Hostel. As well a traditional Colombian lunch or dinner can be ordered at the Guesthouse for an additional fee.
Hacienda Venecia is a working coffee farm. Daily guided coffee tours and other activities like horseback riding can be organised.
Different areas of the Hacienda are used as the backdrop for the tour: there´s no tourist façade, you will see the real workings of the farm at all the intricate stages of coffee production!
