Maybe the hotel staff could have sent a warning of big open market in town, and advise how to reach hotel. With our gps we got completely blocked as most roads in town were closed

Super location! Great, spacious and clean hotel room. Room is modern with new furniture. Great, hearty breakfast and bar beside hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Nuremberg as it is in an short walking distance away from all the main attractions.
As we stayed on Friday night and our room was faced towards street, it could be a bit noisy. Air conditioner would be good to have for hot summer nights.

Ideally situated for all the sights in the old town - maximum 10 minute walk to anywhere of interest. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was interesting, no buffet - but bread, butter croissants, jams , tea, juice and coffee provided automatically, with (free) a la carte choice of cold and cooked meals. The English-speaking staff were friendly, cheerful (and quite exceptionally helpful in an emergency).
Only the provision of tea-making facilities in the bedroom would make this hotel perfect.
