Modern and Clean facilities, all inclusive good menu options. Friendly staff at the rooftop pool.

Pool and jacuzzi was dirty at times and does not look like it is cleaned very often.Noisy from the street side with a reggaeton cafe playing loud music until 3am in the morning. Staff at the sister hotels (playacar & cocobeach) lacking in good customer service and very rude at times except jorge Alberto ku Chan who was working very hard and provided us with excellent service at playacar. We asked the hotel to organise a taxi for us and we agreed on 900 mxp when we went to take the taxi the price jumped by 400 and they blamed it on us saying we gave them the incorrect hotel - it was only after arguing with the person at the front desk did we agree to 1000 mxp to get us on our way to our next hotel. Unfortunately this left a bad taste in our mouth and has left a dark mark on what was a mainly great stay at the reef 28

Food, drink and facilities where fantastic!!

The staff were beyond poor they were terrible! One of the male staff was incredibly creepy around my girlfriend when I was not around making her extremely uncomfortable! As I have read with other reviews the service on roof from the servers was poor so myself and my girlfriend ensured to tip well however after a day or two the servers stopped bringing drinks and appeared they just didn’t want to do any work when their boss was not present!
