We choose this hotel for a layover between flights to the mainland. 5 minutes drive from the airport and five minute walk to the Centre of Ponta Delgada. Had a nice diner in their restaurant.
Big business type of hotel, giving a bit of unpersonal sphere in the evening when we were there. While the room was very clean and comfortable, some parts of the building start showing signs of wear and tear.

The hotel was very good, clean, tastefully decorated. The staff was very helpful and kind. Large room and a fabulous breakfast! Less than 10 minutes from the airport.

The staff was polite and welcoming.
The room was not ready and our luggage had been lost, so we needed clothing, etc. The staff did not give us clear directions to the mall and what should have taken less than ten minutes took over an hour. Specifically, directions were given to turn the wrong way on one-way roads.

Beds were ok..i found them too hard, pillows not so comfy either, breakfast was very fresh each morning, maybe a little more variety and it was difficult to find table settings.
