Nice renovated building and a cozy breakfast room. Very friendly staff. The location of the hotel was excellent in the nice neighbourhood.
The room was quite small
The hotel was nice and cozy and staff were very cordial..
The room had a very very small window on its top, disappointing
Good space and confortable room.
Poor breakfast and no room service (food and beverage). No elevator in the hotel.
the hotel is located in a quiet street in a residential area and within walking distance to San Cristobel and Hard Rock Cafe Santiago. Unfortunately, i only booked for 1 night and it was the weekend of the Santiago metro riots and due the curfew, i had to go to the airport to spend the night. The hotel staff was very helpful and it helped that he spoke english at a time of crisis and managed to speak to the Uber driver to get me to the airport. I booked a single room as that was the only available room and it's at the basement, not much of a view/window but would have been sufficient for a nights stay (if i had spent the night there).
not much that i didnt like about the place.. it looked like it was a residential house before it got converted into a small hotel, so it was small and cosy.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing excellent advice. The location was good. The lobby, communal living area and overall decoration was charming and well considered. Nice linen and comfortable mattress. Pillows could be harder.
The bathroom is in need of a serious upgrade. Broken tiles, lots of dirt in the grouting, and no extractor fan so mould on the ceiling. The mirror also needs replacing as it mists up and cannot be un-misted easily. On closer inspection there was a large amount of dust under the bed so more attention needs to be given to the cleaning. Upon arrival there was a general smell of mould so I would suggest purchasing several dehumidifiers. The breakfast is basic continental with the option of eggs and a pancake/waffle. Simple improvements could be made. The coffee is weak and poor quality and could easily be better quality filter coffee. The addition of more fruit, nuts and brown bread would also help. The juice is not fresh but more like cordial with added sugar. Fresh orange and apple juice would be much better.
