Our room was just beautiful and clean, staff very nice and with solid English, the location stands uncontested. Insane value for the price. Totally recommend.
Super B&B in the centre of the old town, on a lovely little street, just a few minutes walk to the Duomo. We had a family room and it was fine for a short stay for a family. Sweet little balcony. Check-in is in another hotel and then they will take you to the underground parking, park the car for you (you leave the keys with them) and then they help with your luggage to the B&B. Breakfast was great on a little roof terrace. Would definitely stay again.
Driving and parking is a bit tricky, it's not easy to find and if you miss it the town is all one-way streets, and tiny little streets (don't hire a big car!!).
The lady who made the breakfast was adorable, helpful and mostly knew very good English. In addition, the breakfast was very good both in quantity and quality
A few hours before our arrival, we were informed that we had to check-in at another hotel site, specifically the hotel Livingston which is not close to the Acropolis B&B. When we got there we asked the lady at the front desk about the parking lot and informed us that it costs 10 euros in their own secured space, otherwise 15 euros in the public parking lot. We chose their own place because it was close to Acropoli where we have booked. We went there and there was a gentleman who didn't know English and was shouting that because the next day is Sunday, we should have got the car by 11am. After pushing the car over another in an attempt to put it in a crowded area, he started to shout at us with many common bad Italians words. But the surprises did not stop there. We finally arrived in the room after a total of 1 hour of check-in. There we saw that there were 4 single beds in the room, not 2 double as we had requested. Toilet paper for one person only and for single use only. Dirty towels with clear traces of makeup. Red stains on two-bed sheets. Also on the table there were 4 plastic glasses that smell like wine.
A great accommodation for a great price. We could have breakfast and park our car nearby in the hotel Livingstone.
Perfect central localization, very helpful staff, rooftop terrace open all times.
