Cons:Flight schedule changed by Tarom. Initial flight cancelled.

Pros:The Tarom gate agent was excellent
Cons:The flight had an in-flight emergency and had to return to Bucharest. It took a long time to get a replacement plane and by the time I got to Istanbul my hotel room reservation listed me as a no-show. I spent the night in the Istanbul airport.

Pros:The check-in at Brussels was quick and the staff conpetent; the boarding occurred at the time specified; the plane was clean; in Bucharest, the trip to the terminal on a bus was quick ; a hot lunch of chicken with sauce and rice pilaf was good. In-flight service was fine.
Cons:The AirFi system allowed for movies and games on one's own internet device, but did not allow for an internet conection during the flight to email or surffing.

Pros:Everything good except my luggage did not show up in Bucharest.
Cons:File claim for lost luggage with Tarom. Called them twice, still no sign of bag. Now I wonder who is at fault. Do Turkish Airlines lose bag or Tarom. I think the bag got to Istanbul but dont know what happened after that. Leave Bucharest tomorrow to tour Romania with a group. I am not sure if I should contact Turkish Airlines as well.

Pros:That I landed safely and nothing happened.
Cons:I felt I was on a very outdated plane, so safety was a concern...luckily everything was good just old seats and service was not special at all.
