Monte dos Avós Village

The location is fantastic, about 4 minutes drive from the centre. The pool was great and refreshing, and the apartments are equiped with the basics to provide a comfortable stay and be able to cook a meal or just breakfast.

We were a couple, but we were given two single beds. Not outrageous, or anything, but it would have been nice to have a double or a queen size bed. Also, the bathroom shower head could use some upgrade and replacement, it was old, plugged with calcarium build-up and spread water everywhere, causing a small flood on the floor, each time. There was a mop and bucket to clean up, but a simple replacement could make it great! There is no WiFi connection reaching the apartments, possibly due to poor range. There is an important safety issue to mention, to avoid a possible disaster. The apartments are equiped with a hot water boiler, the water is boiling, and some of the taps are separate hot/cold, without a mixer. If you open the hot, first, you risk a serious and severe burn!!! Careful with unnatended children, or even yourself!!! This is a safety issue that can be easily avoided, as the boiler is too hot!
