Location to the old town. The reception staff spoke English well and were very helpful especially Annabelle The old building is beautiful. The pool area is ver nice.
The addition to the hotel looks added on. I would prefer one of the original rooms which we had. The restaurant area was a bit drab.

I loved the building & the history around it. It had a calming atmosphere & was a relaxing place to stay.
When you order food - lunch & dinner, I like to get my drink to start, but here, it takes a while. You need to have lots of time. I had dinner one night & I ordered a bottle of wine & main course & waited 25 mins approx or maybe longer & my wine did not arrive until my main course!

The convent in its old style was beautiful and breakfast was excellent
The room The noise in room The broken electric circuits which meant we had to turn off all electrical to stop the persistent noise The air conditioner was broken & the hotel only went to fix it at 10pm The front desk manager was rude when we told her about our room experience and the technical faults - she dismissed us & told us to take it up with booking.com - very poor customer service
