Lovely location and quick boat trip to island. Good breakfast selection great pool.
Air conditioning not good enough, having to pay for the safe , didn't like the soap and shower soap like in the bottles. Needs a little shop that sells papers etc.

Good breakfast buffet and a la carte evening meal. Quiet location. Comfortable room.
Delayed, inefficient check-in. Mosquitoes in dining room. Lunch buffet was running out of food before end of period. Hotel is too far out of Tavira to walk into town, so you are stuck with the hotel's restaurant if you want wine with dinner. Swimming pool was dirty and the gym minimally equipped. Overall, far too expensive at published rate, but a lot of the guests seemed to be on a package from Spain. I'd suggest investigating there for cheaper deals.

Location is great, you do need a car or Uber though if you want to go into town!
Would have expected tea / coffee making facilities in the room and an iron.

Clean, spacious rooms in a very nice colonial setting. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. Good bar. Nice pool, a kids area and relaxed atmosphere, because this is a no hassle place. Not overcrowded whatsoever. Note: the bellman/concierge is an enormous hardworking man.
It would be nice to have some explanation of your whereabouts as the hotel is out of Tavira. For example a layout of the beaches. Because there's more than the boat to the islands (at the islands all the beds are reserved, so that's a bit of disappointing). For this hotel a car is much appreciated. Then the town is a small ride. Hotel provides bikes, which can bring you past the salt lakes.
