Pros: Some of the crew was great, some not so friendly.
Cons: Not charge for every little bag
Pros: We got here safely

The flight Wasn’t cancelled.
Cons: 3 hour delay after changing the time of my flight completely the day before. Then no service on the flight at all.
Pros: Seamless check-in, friendly staff
Pros: The crew was amazing. Super nice and acodating.
Cons: They don’t tell you that you have to pay for baggage and that if you pay at the airport it is 3x the amount! I was astonished and I felt lied to!
Pros: Awesome crew.
Cons: Snack on flight
Pros: crew was friendly, online checkin opens 72 hrs before and they send notification email as a reminder.

Pros: The flight was routine and got us to where we wanted to go
Cons: The flight was 20 minutes late leaving
Cons: Delayed by nearly 3 hrs
Cons: To fly on time.
Pros: We had emergency exit seats so very good leg room and seat back magazine small item holder.
Cons: Flight was 20min late.
Pros: Free upgrade to exit seats because I’m tall! Didn’t even ask!
Cons: Nothing, was everything we could have expected of a short hall flight!
Cons: Allow 10kg hand luggage
Cons: Travelling on time. The flight was 1 hour late
Cons: More leg room.
Pros: Material of seat cover was better than fabric one
Pros: Seat didnt have adjustable head rest, seat did not recline. Lights stayed on nearly the entire time even though it was a flight from 10-2am AEST.
Pros: Complimentary water
Cons: We did not get on the flight, there was no staff available to check in our bags. Everyone we spoke to was rude and abnoxious at Brisbane airport. The only people were lovely and helpful were the volunteers in the blue shirts who tried to direct us in the right direction. We finally got on a flight and still had to pay for it.
Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: A normal glass of water Some snack or pretzel Wifi on board
Pros: Pleasant staff, comfy seats on the new 737-800
Cons: Delayed boarding, no food to purchase on board
Pros: I couldn't get to the Flight. I was told that the boarding closed. I reached there exact 30 minutes before the Flight. I didn't receive my Itenary Email and Flight Details in Email from BYO Jets.
Pros: Time of boarding and the flight were fast and on time.
Pros: Very friendly crew, helpful check-in people
Cons: I don't think any of the seats reclined.
Cons: The flight was extremely delayed and appeared to be the turn around time due to the flight arrival time and the passengers on the flight unloading. I note that my departure flight was also delayed significantly. This return flight delay caused me to miss my flight, even though I had a good buffer.
Pros: There is absolutely nothing about this flight or this airline that I enjoyed in the slightest.
Cons: Everything. The staff was completely unorganized and understaffed and incredibly rude and unhelpful.
Pros: Friendly crew, helpful
Cons: Seat pitch was very tight. Boarding by stairs and not jetway.
Pros: Cabin crew pretty so-so. No food to buy, no tea or coffee. Just water.
Cons: Practically everything!
Pros: My seat was not kicked. No crying babies. (Neither was due to the airline).
Cons: Queue Jump was initially ignored, at gate. Flight attendant made sarcastic comments. No food to purchase, not even tea/coffee.
Excellent flight back to Brisbane.
Pros: Staff were nice and kind.
Pros: The window seats are good for sleeping.
Cons: No major issues on this flight.
Cons: Flight delayed about 50 mins. Lost baggage. Pooooooooor.
Okay budget flight
Pros: Price was good. Flight was delayed due to delay in incoming flight, and explanation was clear.
Cons: My poor spine does not like budget airline seats at all.
Pros: Boarding was quick
Cons: The flight had a lot of turbulence
Cons: Aircraft not the cleanest
Pros: Quick flight
Cons: Boring and uncomfortable
Cons: Crew in the air were fine, crew at check in was very unfriendly and tried to say I was over with baggage - 2 bags at 10kg for 2 people - I dont think so.......7kg each
Good flight to Melbourne
Pros: Good service by friendly crew . The flight went quickly , & the landing was top notch.
Good value flight
Pros: Clean and tidy aircraft, pleasant crew, on time
Cons: wouldnt want a longer journey as the seats are narrow and uncomfortable
Pros: Watching the hand luggage scale being wheeled out by a cranky employee was delightful
Cons: A woman who clearly couldn’t speak English having her weighed parcel thrown off said scale when the worker got too impatient with her. A cup of sunshine wouldn’t have gone astray
Cons: Having to put my own luggage tags on only to be told by a fit man “ they’re upside down!’l he should’ve put them
Very very poor
Cons: Flight time rescheduled meaning we had very little time for connecting flight. Then they checked our luggage in (weighed 8.5kg and only 7 allowed (charged $108). The booking in of the bags meant one of our party missed connecting flight. She arrived at gate while plane was still there and Capt said he would wait but ground staff over-ruled decision. Not happy.
Short femurs ok
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Boarding exceptionally slow due to intensive screening of each passengers hand luggage. Opportunististic for making an extra $36/bag if a gram over 7. Seat unable to recline. Literally not enough room for legs and needed to sit sideways and I’m not that tall!
Just dont use this airline. They are cheap for a reason
Cons: This companies business model is high friction. I ended up with two tickets for my daughter on the same flights as one of their affiliates had problems with their website so it told me I wasn’t successful booking when i later found out the message was wrong. In the interim i booked the small flights on Tiger. I called both companies 4 times got the usual Asian call center responses and finally someone had the guts to tell me they would do nothing about it. Just insane and that’s what you will be if you ignore my advice. My daughter ended up with two flights she could never use and they would not do a single thing to help apart from go through their call center script to keep their jobs. You have been warned. Kayak should never refer people to gotogate.com. They offer similar customer service and would also do nothing.
Poor customer service
Cons: Very rude team. Never ever travel with tiger airlines again
Pros: Everything went smoothly as on earlier experiences. Friendly and helpful staff at airport.
Cons: The departure gate was not displayed on the electronic board at the airport until an announcement that boarding was 'commencing' which caused some unnecessary anxiety.
Pros: Helpful checkin staff and air stewards. Ran on time and would pick Tiger over Jetstar.
Pros: Easy, cheap and great for short-haul flight
Cons: cramped, but was on a new plane which was actually much better than other tiger flights i've taken!
Pros: all ok.
Cons: No issues with the flight itself or crew however the flight was rescheduled after booking from 11.45am departure to 8.35pm (then urther delay of 30m on day).
Cheap and cheerful - quite adequate for the price.
Pros: The price.
Cons: Little room and having the seat in front reclined back as soon as possible, and until the very end of the flight. Reclining economy seats in minimal space budget airlines are just plain rediculous. Have those airline bisses never tried their own cattle class?
Impressive for our first flight with Tiger
Pros: Much better than Jetstar in every way , especially the legroom
Pros: Great boarding process, friendly staff, clean cabin, perfectly on time. Espresso martinis!
Operating out of three hubs, Tigerair Australia schedules exclusively domestic flights. All three hubs are located along the east coast of Australia in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. A combination of major cities and coastal vacation destinations are reached with over 10 terminations.
The carrier is owned by the Virgin Australia Holdings group, which is also in control of Virgin Australia and Virgin Australia Regional. Despite continuing to hold the Singaporean Tigerair brand, the airline is entirely based and operated locally in Australia.
All passengers are seated within a singular Economy cabin; however, seats are available with additional legroom. Typical seats begin with roughly 29 in of separation, with seats in exit aisles providing as much as 38 in. One piece of hand luggage weighing 7 kg (approximately 15 lb) and a small personal item, such as a tablet or coat, are allowed to be carried onboard. Checked baggage is not included for standard fares.
A combination of Boeing and Airbus aircraft are flown by Tigerair Australia; however, the airline has stated they would like to streamline their fleet. Models such as the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 are regularly operated, with the ability to carry between 180 and 186 passengers.
It is a low-cost carrier and delivers services with minimal amenities. Entertainment such as movies and music can be purchased via a wireless streaming service, allowing customers to engage using a personal device. The Tigerair Australia mobile app must be downloaded before boarding. A 2018 report by Global Flight Pricing listed it as the cheapest airline for domestic flights in the world.
