Fabulous location. Had an amazing room with view of water, simple yet very clean and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly. Rooftop restaurant was also amazing. Would have stayed longer had I not booked elsewhere.

Great location. Excellent generous breakfasts. Clean rooms with a lovely view of Lake Pichola. Comfortable bed. A bathroom that worked. AC worked. Excellent , informative and helpful reception staff.

No lift. So if you have joint trouble - beware but the staff are very helpful.

- Good room (number 63) with balcony and view to the lake - A lot of sockets in my room (the hotel consits of several buildings - I guess the number of sockets depends on the building, as I have read some reviews complaing the lack of enough sockets) - A/C, Fan, TV with international news channels, comfy bed, quiet room - attentive and helpful staff, providing map and information about the main activities (opening hours, entrence fees) - three minutes walk to Bagore Ki Haveli (evening dance show is worth a visit) - three minutes walk to Udaipur Palace and main Temple - In Lobby area are a lot of helpful information posted: taxi rates to several locations, what to expect on a day trip, how to tip the staff (not individually, use tipping box) - I arranged airport transfers and two day tours (Kumbhalgarh/Ranakpur on one day and Chittorgarh on another day) - everything went smooth and cars and drivers have been good - Good rooftop restaurant - tasty food and kind staff

- As everywhere: check your bill as mistakes can occur. As I paid my room they quoted 14 000 Rupees instead of 10 300 Rupees and also a bit more for the airport transfer than agreed. But it was sorted out within a short period of time and I had finally just to pay, what was agreed before. - For me it was not a problem, but I just mention it as it might be of interest for other traveller: I had to a lot of stairs to get to my room - so for anyone, whose health doesn't allow to walk a lot of stairs, you should consider to ask for a room on a lower level (or choose another hotel, which has an elevator) - The location is excellent next to the main sights of Udaipur. The downside of this: when you step out of the hotel you are instantly approached by touts, trying to sell you someting. That's annoying, but not the hotel's fault.
