Room is spacious
Distance from train station to the hotel is tedious. About half and hour walking from the station. Not recommended those with difficulty walking.

Mini fridge was overheating and was hot ( they tried to say this was on purpose, it’s not I have a mini fridge at home) booked a canal view and there was road works the whole time so we had a horrible vue, everything was closed and cancelled due to the corona virus but we were still charged top £ even though everything was closed and we had a bad view. Instead of the local businesses taking the hit the tourists do. Room was not sound proof, kept awake by guest next door coughing the whole night.

Good staff, they offered a nice complementary drink and room was spacious.
Very dark room (hard to read), no air conditioner and we could hear everything from the room near our. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights because the couple in the room near our was screaming and singing until midnight. We only could sleep after asking reception to call them (they did it immediately).

Quiet part of Venice but easy to access everywhere . We were there during the carnival and it was very local authentic feel to the festivity’s.
We were in a family room which was great .The sound proofing between rooms is not great although it did not bother us particularly I can imagine it might annoy some .
