Palatino Hotel

The best hotel which we have stayed so far on the islands. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food excellent, Denise is the best greek chef!! The dinner option was very nice and with a big variety. All the staff Spiros, Eunices, Angela, Catherine, Margaretha, Jenny and Dennis the barman, thank you for a very nice stay.

Nothing about the hotel we disliked. The area, especially the beach, at the local municipal storage building and tennis courts are very dirty and are a down grade to the hotel.

Location and cleanliness

My room was at an angle with no real view and no sunlight

Great location, just a few minutes walking from the main square with tons of food options. Also close to bus stops to get you to any beach on the island. Great breakfast and rooms are spacious and relatively quiet. Staff is great, always available and knowledgeable about the area.

Downsides are the "beach" in front of the hotel which is not up to standard with the rest of the island. The water is amazing and clear but the beach is non existent and surrounded by broken down buildings. Not a big deal as it's easy to travel to all the amazing beaches on the island but don't plan on spending a day in front of the hotel. Cleaning ladies start quite early and are not always silent so that can be improved. Rooms electrical work with the key inserted which is great for the environment but not ideal if you want to leave the air-conditioning on to come home to a cold room.

Good location close to most things in town,parking was easy and breakfast was very good and staff were courteous and friendly.

Great location walking distance from centre. Very friendly stuff and the room was cleaned every day.

Beach near by was not the best one but this is not a hotel fault
