Phoenix Hotel

Not the location because it’s super noisy. Not the reception area, because it’s not nice. Not the very small elevator. Not the fact that it’s SO hot without aur condition. Not the room.

I did not like this hotel at all (!!), and I will list the reasons: 1) The location is extremely noisy till 3 in the night. Cars, motor bikes, people. You can not sleep well here! 2) Much too high temperature and no air condition in the public area of reception. It was almost not supportable to be there. 3) Decoration of hotel is not nice at all. Reception, corridors and rooms look very scarse and simple, not tasteful at all. The hotel looks good from outside, but not from inside. It is very basic! 4) Room decoration is not nice. Cheap furniture, not tastefully furnished. The sofa of room 303 looks dirty and needs cleaning. Not even 1 painting in the bedroom. No ambiance at all in this Junior Suite which is MUCH too expensive for what it is! 5) The barhroom was pretty shocking because I booked a Junior Suite and had a 3 square meters tiny bathroom that looked extremely poor and ugly! Tiny sink. Very narrow shower, almost no space to sit on the toilet. Just very very disappointing! I was very upset to see all this!! All in all I did not like this hotel. The hotel itself was not sympathetic to me, and I did not like the very noisy location. Upon check out that Asian girl did not even asked if I liked my stay. Not a nice and personal treatment. Very very bad and not hospitable! Not professional! I know more than 20 Greek islands and really found Zákynthos Town not attractive or beautiful at all. The buildings in town are not well maintained and look neglected. And the atmosphere in town was far from being as nice as I know it from many other Greek islands. I would not recommend this hotel because not far away is a very nice 4* hotel with much better quality for the same price! And the other one has a fabulous roof terrace with pool!
