The location The size of the room

The door of the room does not close from inside. I tried many times but simple didn’t close. I had to put a chair to keep the door closed. The room had a lot of equipment:two heaters, big fan on the floor. Was looking like a deposit. The windows password painted on the wall was not the right one. They sent the right one by email so I think they could remove that on the wall.

The staff was incredible. Very nice and always available. My room was very spacious and had a really nice decoration. It was very clean and it was really central.

Poor internet / the bathroom was smelling/ they did not even offer toilet paper/ arm chair in the room was broken/ the electricity system was broken - it was down every day/ poor heating -the room was cold / main entrance was broken and open the whole night/the location was hard to be found

It was dead cheap! And I could leave my luggage there after checkout, although it didn’t feel very secure as anyone else staying there could have had access to the locker.

Lots of messages back and forth, confirm this confirm that, send copy of ID. Nowhere near as simple as it sounds. Bathroom fittings are very tired, chipped shower basin, missing shelves etc. But at that price one shouldn’t expect any better, I suppose.

The room was ok but that is about the best I can say. As you will see below, my stay there was pretty much a disaster.

I booked to stay for 4 nights and wish I had left the first night. I did eventually leave early due to the horrendous time I had there. The first night, in the middle of the night, a strange man walked into my bedroom while I was sleeping! It turned out that the inadequate staff in the central office had given him the wrong room number and the access code for the lock for my room. I am a female, on my own and in the middle of the night there is a man in my room uninvited! I felt so unsafe and upset, not to mention having a night of disturbed sleep. I and the man contacted reception and they sorted him out with his room and I let them know how upset I was. The following morning they assured me it wouldn't happen again and convinced me to stay as I wanted to check out. Night two and again in the middle of the night someone (I think female this time) tried to gain access to my room while I was sleeping. They were banging on my door and other doors in the apartment trying to get in. They were trying to use the keypads for access on all the rooms and spent approximately an hour banging doors, making noise and eventually sleeping in the hallway. Again I contacted reception and they did not respond until morning. They apologised and said that the person was confused about which room they were in and that they eventually got into their room. I hope they had a better sleep than I did. I was going to check out but again as assured, nothing would happen again and as prices in Lisbon had skyrocketed and I was too tired to research properly for another room, I relented and stayed. Big mistake. Night three was peaceful and calm until about 5 am when the couple in the room next door started a screaming match at each other. They argued for about 10 minutes until I shouted for them to shut up. They quietened down for about a minute before going onto the balcony where they started arguing again. She was screaming at him for another 40 minutes or so. Disgraceful company.

Ive had some problems with the lock.at my door. Problem couldnt be solves during my stay to my satisfaction - but it sure will be in the next few days. And when i went to sleep late at night i saw i had no blankets.

The location is perfect. The city center is at 20 minutes walking distance, there is a supermarket nearby and also the metro is very close. Within a few metro stops you are in the city. An uber is also only a few euro's to the city center.

The hygiëne / cleanness was not ok. I stayed for 6 days. Bed sheet was never changed. No clean / new bath towels. Never saw an employee to ask for clean ones. Also the bathroom sink was clogged. When I took a shower I would stand in the water, after a few days it became very disgusting. In those 6 days the bathroom was also never cleaned. There is an airconditiong but the apartment is very warm. In all, the location was good but the hygiene no. Ok to crash for 1/2 days not to stay longer.

The idea of codes and practically is very nice. The bed and the room is not bad. Location is good.

The shower need to be change. I cant understand why you need to hold the shower. With €10 they can fix the shower holder. The toilet needs a very good clean. 30 min scrub with bleach will be perfect. Mold everywhere in the shower box. Kitchen is very messy. The fridge has one banana inside look like was put there a month ago. One of the staff knocked my door at 8 am to ask me the door code just ridiculous. Very nice idea but need someone to take care the property. The room 43 was the worse. The door are inside the kitchen every time someone go to the kitchen you can hear the noise.

Innovative way to open doors with codes without handing over the keys. Great opportunity to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Nice looking appartment with good lighing as well as shading from the sun. Possibility to use kitchen and its appliances. Close to the subway.

Location is good - in the middle of Lisbon, between two lines of the underground. The apartment is on the 5th level, but there is an elevator in the building. WiFi worked really good - for me it was very important. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable with regular comforter, not only with a sheet (I had one during my stay in Lisbon two years ago). Small kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare not only a cup of coffe but also to cook some simple meal.

Bed smell in the apartment (because of damp?, from the sewage system?), I had to keep my window open all the time, when I was in the room. And the equipment in the bathroom was already used (shower cubicle and shower head) or broken (a toilet seat).

In the bathroom, the poliban hadn't a door . Difficult to take shower, always water running to the floor and no towels. No room service ,nobody to clean the bedroom ,change the bedsheet ,no toilet paper. No comfort.

The varanda or balcony was the icing on the cake. I could seat there in the evening with a glass of red wine and managed the soak up the sun in the morning, enjoying the views of traditional and modern. Very close to metro/tube station was a bonus!

Room itself was quite spacious (not so the hallway or the kitchen). Nice view from balkony. Very attentive staff (via remote messages).

Bed not very solid, bedsheats of not so great quality, pillows might need a wash. Not really suitable for bikes (5th floor, tiny elevator). The late (16:00) check-in and early (10:00) check-out is not so great.

The check in/out process is really convenient as the doors codes are sent in advance. The room was big enough as well as the bathroom. Plates, cutlery, towels and a small fridge were available in the room. Location is good.

I agree with some comments where the luggage "room" is not suitable for whom has big suitcases - luckily i could leave mine in the room as it was close to the check in time (4PM). The cleaning part can be improved in the bathroom, as well to have some AC or something to cool off the bathroom, as one side its only windows and it gets very warm.

No A/C. There are two big fans that help a lot, but we found the room with open windows and blinds, so the afternoon sun had flooded in and it was terribly warm. Next time please think of lowering...
