Nice and clean hotel. The room was big and comfortable. We took 4 nights to celebrate my birthday. From the beginning we receive an upgrade for the room. A very nice surprise to find in the room a bottle of champagne and pralines. I recommend this hotel . Also the rooftop bar has a very nice view of Lisbon. Breakfast very good!

Car parking is wonderful as it’s under the hotel... just a care if you have a big car we found it a little tight.

Our second stay in this hotel, and next time we would surely stay here again. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, private free parking (just a little bit tight). Perfect location in the center of Lisbon. Room equipped with a large modern bathroom, the bed was so comfortable. We got upgraded to a better room at normal price.

Amazing staying in Lisbon

I enjoyed the room, the safe amd gluten free CoVid breakfast and the present the hotel had for our honeymoon stay! I will come back whenever I visit Lisbon again.

Recommended hotel in the heart...

The location is very central with very good access to the public transport, walking distance from major attractions. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious with high ceilings. Soundproof windows. The hotel is very nicely designed - both rooms and common areas. We also loved the breakfasts. Due to the pandemic the breakfast was served to the table.

Very good Hotel in the middle of Lisboa. The Staff is excellent and very friendly. The service they offer is great, even in Corona times! The Staff takes care of your needs in all times. The Boutique Hotel Portugal is a professional accomodation. The rooms are comfortable and large. The location is not far from Tram 28, Rossio Square and Comercial Square. I strongly recommend the Hotel

Fantastic hotel in central location

From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally. We only had 24hrs in Lisbon, and the staff on reception were so helpful in pointing out what we should see and routes we should take to make the most of our trip. They recommended and booked a place for dinner for us as well which was absolutely delicious! Our room was amazing, we luckily got upgraded to a suite for our stay which I can say is fabulous, large separate bath and separate living area. We got complementary drinks in the neighbouring hotel and breakfast was great (albeit likely a very different set up to usual due to COVID). I cannot thank the staff enough for their helpfulness to us during are stay!

The only thing I would say is the parking is very tight, anyone with a large car should beware on this as we struggled with a small polo. But none the less having free parking on central Lisbon is a great perk!

Top Service, top location, top attention to details and top rooms. One of the best hotels I have been to, the attention is 100% personalized, the main attractions are located in a walking distance and it has access to all Hotel Mundial facilities. It is a great option. The staff prepared many cute details for us, we received an upgrade and during my whole stay I simply felt at home.

The breakfast was nice, but it could improve. The quality of the ingredients could be better and for example, the bread was really dry and flavorless. But in general the concept was amazing.

The hotel itself! The room was really good, very nice design and it was really big! Perfect location near Rossio Plaza and train station. The breakfas is also really good, lots of food.

We came here for two night for some of our honeymoon and the staff were so accommodating and made our stay really extra special! Lovely rooms and the best location, can’t fault this hotel, would highly recommend

Couldn't open the windows in our room because they were opening towards the inner courtyard and there was a huge AC machine that made a lot of noise.

The noise from the televisions in the rooms next to is. We could not hear talking or other things but the televisions we heard loud for Some reason. Other than this our stay was perfect!

The staff were the best staff we have come across in any hotel we have ever been before. The room was excellent and clean, spacious and comfortable. Being so close to the centre and with nearby transport. Fantastic!!

The location is excellent. Close to everything within walking distance. Staff is so friendly and helpful with great service. Good breakfast. We got an upgrade and we stayed at a deluxe room which was awesome. Nice and big room. I highly recommend staying there.

The staff especially, they went above and beyond. And the location is superb, close to all of the action.

The only thing that I didn’t like is that they still supply small bottles of shampoo, body wash, etc. I’d prefer they employ a more eco friendly alternative.

They upgraded our standard room to a deluxe room :) room was very clean and larger than it looks in the pictures. Tv is built into the mirror which adds to the atmosphere. Wifi is fast. Staff are very caring. They offer complimentary coffee and natas. They definitely deserve 5 stars. It’s one of the best places i’ve stayed in a while and my job requires constant travelling. For the price the quality you get is outstanding.

I booked for my daughter and boyfriend for birthday treat. They loved the room and sparkling wine and chocolate left in room.

One of the best value hotels I’ve ever been to. They upgraded our standard to a suite which was the biggest and cleanest hotel room I’ve been to. The staff’s service was exceptional and when we bought wine from another store, they opened our bottle and gave us an ice box. They brought our food delivery order to our room, and the hotel amenities were amazing—it had everything we needed. The location is great with rossio station only a 5 minute walk, and the area is also very safe. Will return here again.

The hotel is super convenient to walk to lots of places in Lisbon. We loved the location. The staff was great and the rooms were large and very nice. The TV was fun!

Unfortunately it was warm out but the hotel still had it set to heat so there was no air conditioning. We opened the balcony doors and it felt pretty good but apparently they would collect the glass late every night so there was a large beeping truck with glass being dumped for 30-45 min while we tried to sleep. That would be our only complaint is I wish we could have closed the doors and had cold air blowing.

Everything was excellence. I celebrated my birthday during the stay and they offered me a bottle of wine and a letter of whishes! I really appreciated that. Furthermore I want to highlight the kindness of Ricardo, the guy at the entrance. He was professional and emphatetic!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Portugal for 4 nights. We absolutely loved this hotel! There is a doorman ready to greet you at the entrance at all times. He helped us upstairs with our luggage and walked us through our room, showing us the safe and mini bar. The front desk staff were super helpful, providing us with a city map and nearby recommendations. There are two markets nearby where we were able to get bottled water and some snacks. There are many souvenir shops and cafes in the area. Hard Rock, which is the pick up point for many excursions, is a 5-7 minute walk. Breakfast was included as part of our stay and included delicious coffee, scrambled eggs, pancakes, a variety of pastries, fruits, vegetables, and more. Our room faced the back of the hotel so it was very quiet at night. There was a mini balcony to step out onto. There is also a small backyard area downstairs where you can sit.There was ample shelf and closet space in our room for us to lay out our belongings during our stay and be comfortable. The bathroom had two sinks, a large tub, and a shower with a strong rain shower head. There is also a blow dryer for your hair (the good kind! Works very well!). The hotel also provides comfy slippers and bath robes. We were also able to leave our luggage downstairs after check out and pick it up later in the evening. We would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Nothing to dislike!

The tv in the mirror was a great touch. The staff went way above and beyond to make my wife's birthday very special. They allowed us to check in a little early after a long flight and made our stay very special.

Only hiccup was that the driver we hired through booking.com dropped us at the wrong hotel

Wonderful location within centre of downtown Lisbon, ideal base for walking to sightseeing spots or catching hop on/off buses, trams or metro for further afield. Hotel was very chic and modern and the staff were extremely helpful. Room was very spacious, huge bathroom and the breakfast had plenty of choice. Many restaurants and bars either around Rossio square, Praca do Comércio or in the little cobbled streets to choose from. Hotel is situated behind the Hotel Mundial which has a fabulous rooftop bar, bit pricy but worth it for the view. Very enjoyable stay & weekend

This is a outstanding property which I can’t praise enough and I am fussy! It is though the staff have all been trained to go beyond and above, they were so very helpful- the cleaning staff and behind the scenes staff who are often forgotten do a great job, we were escorted to our room and shown how the AC worked. The room was super spacious, very comfortable the linens were divine and the bed comfortable, add that to a fabulous safe and walking distance to everything location and this little Hotel deserves more than 10! Of the 100+ hotels I have stayed in as luxury hotel reviewer this is the best ever!

Very modern hotel, friendly staff. Liked the room and modern bathroom. Fantastic varied breakfast and good coffee with hot milk just how we like it. Parking in the hotel complex belonging to hotel Mundial and free. Excellent for a city hotel. We have already booked our next stay at the portugal boutique hotel.

The pillows were quite flat. I had a stiff neck the next day.

Great location one block from the end of the historic 28 tram line (Martim Moniz)! Excellent staff. Our room was very large and spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and comfortable - with the best pillows! We took advantage of nearby amenities including a laundromat and medical clinic (my boyfriend had a terrible sore throat) in the middle of a 16-day vacation. We also used the on-site parking at the adjoining hotel (Hotel Mundial) during our stay, which was very convenient and included in the room rate when we booked. There were many wonderful restaurants and sights to see within easy walking distance. We found the public transportation easy to use and the city extremely walkable.

Our room had large windows onto the central courtyard, which was great for natural sunlight, but trash collection and delivery activities in the courtyard were very loud in the evening and night. We also experienced very loud noises from the space above our room in the night - it sounded like there was a large catering kitchen above us and moving of furniture. The fragrance of the room air-freshener (or cleaning products?) was too strong.

Sometimes you find a place where everyting is perfect. Great employees with the right focus and attitude, exceptional room, great breakfast, perfect location. If i could rate this hotel with an 11, i would.
