With a population of 2,39 million, Cali is the largest city in Valle del Cauca, Colombia by the number of inhabitants. It is one of the most popular cities to visit in the country. Consider staying at least one whole day in Cali to see all of its attractions.
When to visit Cali
Looking for warm weather? Then head to Cali in February, when the average temperature is 24 °C, and the highest can go up to 29 °C. The coldest month, on the other hand, is January, when it can get as cold as 19 °C, with an average temperature of 23 °C. You’re likely to see more rain in April, when precipitation is around 140 mm. In contrast, July is usually the driest month of the year in Cali, with an average rainfall of 30 mm.

Bus
Several bus lines operate bus routes to Cali, including Expreso Palmira, Expreso Bolivariano and Bus. From Ibagué, the bus ride to Cali takes 669 km and will cost you around S$ 42. From Medellín, the ticket costs about S$ 42 for a journey of 871 km. Cali’s bus station is located 1.8 km from the city centre.
