- Australia
At number 10 on our list of the happiest countries in the world is none other than Australia. With a laid-back, beach-loving culture, iconic natural wonders and action-packed cities, it’s hard not to be happy in Australia. Whether you chill out on the beaches of Bondi or Surfers Paradise, dive with marine life on the Great Barrier Reef, pub-hop in Melbourne or go crocodile-spotting in the Northern Territory, one thing’s for sure. Unspoilt nature no doubt adds to the lifestyle, with incredible lakes, snowy landscapes and abundant wildlife. It’s also the home of Santa Claus and literally millions of Finnish saunas, for health and relaxation.
