Old Tired and Run Down
Smelly - Old - Tired - Run Down
The Hotel is located next to Marrakech station and the local express coach office, so it is well situated for travelling on to other destinations in Morocco. It has a very pleasant garden with pool and there are a number of cafés and shops in the area. Our room was well- appointed, comfortable and warm at night.
The price charged was the standard rate for a double room, not the price quoted by Booking.com.Breakfast was somewhat disorganised and staff appeared to lack supervision, particularly on the Friday morning.
A well run, clean hotel, well-placed for the station. Handy to have a bar and pool area and luckily we enjoyed some lovely sunshine relaxing outside. It is like a calm oasis away from the bustle of Marrakech and, as I say, conveniently placed for the train/supratours station. We found the staff to be pleasant and would stay at this hotel again.
Not much we didn't like. We didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment upon that.
Exactly what you'd expect from an Ibis - small-ish rooms, but clean and comfortable. The pool area is great, and despite being next to the train station there's not really any great noise issues.
Great location (we rented a car), clean rooms, friendly staff. We reserved doubles and were given larger suits after we reminded about it, as they were out of standard doubles. Overall, totally recommend it, especially if you don't need anything gorgeous, need a hotel to sleep, have breakfast and then go explore the city, as we did.
In its red ochre colored building with touches of blue, ibis Marrakech Centre Gare offers 109 air-conditioned and comfortable rooms with private bathroom, desk area, flat-screen TV and unlimited free WiFi. Its international restaurant serves an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, and its 24-hour bar and sunny garden with terrace and swimming pool promise savory moments of relaxation close to the tourist sites of the Red City.
