Cons: I reserved a truck, when I got to the rental place the man behind the counter said they don't have trucks and never have had them. I asked why the said they had them on the website and he said it wasn't his problem. He offered me a Chevrolet Equinox and I said that wouldn't be large enough he said " if you're not going to take the equinox then I can't help you so you need to leave." I left and called Dollar cust service, and all they said I could do is file a formal complaint on their website. Luckily National was next door and they were able to get me set up with a truck and helped out with the price of a last minute booking.

Cheap and easy.
Pros: Car came with navigation system, which was an unexpected surprise. Shuttle to and from the airport was frequent and convenient.

Ran out of cars
Pros: Nothing... It was terrible. They ran out of cars and made us walk around the rent a car area looking for available cars with their competitors.
Cons: Poor service, extra slow bus, and had literally 0 cars when we showed up. Didn't offer to help us rebook either.

Pros: Not much
Cons: Showed up at 11pm ,after long day of traveling, to find out they had no vehicles at all. I am 6'10" and reserved a large pickup truck. After about 60 minutes they gave me a time car that I barely fit in. Better than nothing but not ideal.

Saved $100's using Kayak!
Pros: It was quick, easy, and basically effortless to rent a car with Enterprise through Kayak. The best part was that it saved me over $200 for the 4 day rental!!!I would definitely use Kayak again!

Pros: The person who helped pick the car for me went to extra trouble to pick the color package that I mentioned I liked. I thought that was extra nice.
Drop off was excellent and very efficient.
Cons: Due to more cars being returned than expected, there wasn't enough help at check in, but they corrected that as soon as they could.
Everyone was very helpful, once the staff was in place.

Increased Rates from Hurricane Matthew
Cons: I typically rent from Enterprise once a month but last wkd (10/14) all Raleigh "quotes" were triple the amount bc of the storm. Regardless, an economy car went from 15/day to $70.00 a day & that's so wrong. I ended up finding a car at Hertz for 3 days for $63.00 so I won't rent again from Enterprise. I've always been happy with customer service etc but that just put a bad taste in my mouth esp when people are in some hard financial situations due to the storm.

Enterprise at RDU
Pros: not much.....
Cons: We reserved a mid sized SUV. When we arrived at the lot, a small 4 door car was presented to us as our car. I quickly pointed out what we had requested. Then there was this awkward shuffling of oh, yeah, you can get that Jeep over there if you want. The 4 door was lees than the SUV making me think bait and switch. We moved past that, then I signed all the paperwork only to have the girl tell me it again as she hit cancel. So, we did it all again and got to the exit and the gate guy asked when we had 2 receipts. I explained what happened and he gave me both receipts in case I was double charged. We ended up on a toll road at one point. Typically car rental companies will give you options in this case but Enterprise told us nothing about this. When we returned the car, the girl asked us about our experience and I told her what had happened. She chalked it all up to new people working there and getting up to speed. I thinking even new people can read.... So, she kept asking me what she could do to make it an excellent experience, I finally told he tht wasn't happening and we walked. This location appeared very disorganized. I've had a few issues with Enterprise in the past, so I will NOT be using their services again. I am retired and was a worldwide business traveler for 35 years: this aint good customer service.
Cons: They tried to charge me for gas, even though the needle was past the full mark, because I didn't have a receipt, which I was never told I needed. Guess it was on the 5 page contract.
The car was dirty
The car was not ready when I left the counter to go pick it up. Had to wait in line to be told they hadn't washed it yet.

Pros: Rental process was fairly quick.
Cons: I failed to check the gas gauge before leaving and got 34 miles down the road and had to stop and fill up the car which had only a quarter of a tank in it. Spent a half an hour on the phone going through 9 different people before the last one told me she would put in the file that I was returning the car with half a tank as we agreed. Was going to return the car 8 hours early but was running behind and called to let them know I would be about an hour late and asked if my records show the gas agreement and was told no information was in the system about this. He said he would do it. Returned the car and was told again no information was in the system. Showed my gas receipt and the manager finally fixed the problem. Will never rent from Hertz again because of this.

Pros: This whole process was very easy. I even got the vehicle I ask for, I received a brand new Honda Santa Fe. The service with Hertz was perfect. Kayak made my trip memorable.

Got our Kicks on Route 66!
Pros: The car ( Toyota Corolla ) was comfortable, clean and got excellent gas mileage. We had the car for a month ( Drove from North Carolina to California and back) and had no problems at all.
Cons: Taking it back (I wanted to keep it!) lol Otherwise, I really have nothing negative to say.

My First Experience
Pros: This was my first experience for renting a car. People were helpful and very friendly. They offered to go get the car and I said no. Drove nice.
Cons: They never went over the car with me. It wasn't the cleanest. Inside was okay except the armrest looked dirty. The outside had marks on it near the trunk.

Pros: Ease of booking and price.
Cons: It was difficult to determine the interior size of the vehicle when booking. The Jeep Compass was too small for 4 adults and a car seat, so we had to upgrade to a larger vehicle to drive home, and incur additional costs.
Cons: I had a reservation for pickup at 8am (I planned on getting there at 8:30am). I got a call at 8:04 saying they wouldn't have a car till 11:00am, but I could call other Budget locations around Raleigh and have my reservation moved. I asked them to do this calling, which they made clear they wouldn't do.
I called around and couldn't find anything. I called back to ensure they would have a car at 11am. They didn't. I cancelled the reservation.

Pros: I liked the person working with us at the pick up location. He was very accommodating. The car was a nice upgrade.
Cons: The car had some trash in it and was an upgrade that we had to pay for even though there was not a car waiting for us at our designated pick up time.

Disgusting car with vomit
Cons: When I picked up the car, it was dirty both outside and inside. Not being smart and checking out the car, I drove it off the lot. I was 45 min out when I noticed a terrible smell, and when I got out of the car, there was VOMIT in the back carpet!!! This stain looked like it *MAY* have been attempted to be cleaned, but obviously still had the smell and clearly a stain. They were NOT accommodating to replace the rental, and made me do the lag work (after 3 failed call attempts to other places).

Rental Car Interior was dirty.
Pros: Check in and out was quick. Car was in good condition. Sam did a great job helping me rent a car for the first time.
Cons: I reserved a Silverado or comparable. Thrifty had my reservation and knew I was coming to pick up a truck. After driving an hour to pick it up the manager told me they don't have trucks at that location. I don't understand how Kayak can rent a vehicle that doesn't exist.

Much needed at a price undiscussed.
Pros: Car drove, and had space to keep cargo.
Cons: Was not cleaned, had dog hair covering the backseat.
Brake issues had a lot of grinding
Was charged more than twice after the the attendant said they would upgrade me at 'no extra cost' due to lack of inventory. They charged me an extra 20 dollars per day on a car that should have only been 14 dollars per day not including tax and fees.
