Colonial-style building with nice architectural features in a quiet primarily residential area of Jaipur.
Unfortunately this property is lacking in love, which was a shame considering we were booked into the 'deluxe suite'. The room was nice but there were maintenance issues when we arrived (broken lamps, airconditining vents no longer move and filthy menus left in our room). The property (staff included) has the overall feeling of being tired. This could have been ignored if we hadn't previously stayed in great Haveli's in India, so unfortunately this hotel did not live up to expectations. Worst of all was the shower... nill water pressure.
the location...very near to city they gave us dinner at lobby at 11.30 pm as our train was delayed more than 1 hr.of the scheduled time the vehicle arrangements for our city visit
We took 4 rooms for two days value for money for Rs 5300/night it is not worth..plus 1500 for extra bed the bathroom pipes all look very old and very difficult to operate.. complementary breakfast very moderate for this price.. we had a problem with toilet flush in one room and same was even not rectified after complaint during our entire stay.. lack of professionalism... i could see only one professional staff there..
Stuff very friendly. Good location, not noisy. Clean & comfy bed, I slept very good
Very nice and helpful staff . Even the cleaners and the restaurant staff were very courteous . The front office persons provided great help when we got in trouble with an outside taxi . A very big thank you to the owner of Khandela Haveli for all the support and help he gave us on the day of our departure . I will surely stay there again .
- The staff were super-friendly! We stayed there on diwali and the staff made us feel completely at home- they invited us for a small puja and some celebrations afterwards - It's a very pretty place- you will find plenty of photo-ops there - If you're getting your own car, they have a good parking space inside the Haveli's complex - Their lal-maas was quite tasty! Also, they take into consideration any specific comments/requests regarding the food (for eg- less spicy, more gravy etc) - It is located in a very peaceful neighborhood, there's even a grocery store right in front of the main gate, and a bakery 5 mins away. It's not very far from Old Jaipur- you can easily book an Uber/auto at a reasonable price
- The breakfast could definitely be made better- both in terms of quality and spread. The staff sometimes were unaware of the dishes being served - We did face a few issues with the facilities - no water coming in the shower, safe not working properly- however this was fixed once we complained to them - We asked for a few ice cubes- which they told us was chargeable. This seemed a little bizarre!
