Where to stay in Chicago?
Our map will help you find the perfect place to stay in Chicago by showing you the exact location of each hotel.
I booked through Kayak and the day of my reservation, I was walked to a different location in the city because hotel I reserved was overbooked. The new location the air conditioning was broken and there was loud construction early in the mornings. There were no attempts by the front desk to move our room or find acceptable solutions. When I tried to get a partial refund for all of the inconvenience, I was placed on multiple phone calls with the third party booking and the management of the hotels was impossible to get in contact with. Both the hotel chain itself and the system of booking through a third party was a terrible experience that ended up negatively impacting the customer and neither party would take responsibility.

They had zero flexibility when it came to checking out late, housekeeping barged in when I was working and on a call two hours before I was supposed to check out, the room was very bland and not what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel, we didn’t get enough body wash ever, and the staff tried too hard to up-sell me when I was checking in. I had to say no multiple times
