Pros: Very nice neighbourhood. By public Transport quite easy to reach all interesting sites in Kyoto.
Cons: The room was noisy. I coud hear the neighbouring room quite well, and was not that nice. But Hotel staff was very friendly in offering help.
Pros: In quiet neighbourhood,near Ryoanji Kinkakuji. Very helpful manageress.
Cons: Nothing.
Pros: Spacious room with a good mountain view (we were on the 4th floor) and big windows. Cheap car parking; good if you have a car.
Cons: Far from the city centre, although near to Kinkakuji.
Pros: The staff were really helpful. The room was small but clean, with a nice hot shower and a kettle and little fridge. I was there for three days and it felt like home.... Oh, AND bikes for rent!
