Good location, helpful staff, delicious breakfast.
The room was very small as was the shower, and the heaters were very hot, but all manageable.
Good location, clean and friendly staff.
Small room for family, no light in corridor where wardrobe was , not very comfortable beds.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and clean room. Location was good and room was spacious. Breakfast had lots of options and was good value for money.
We arrived at a bad time when a large school group were staying. The noise up till midnight was loud on our first night(not necessarily hotels fault but I do think the adults with the children should have been informed to keep noise down after 10pm). The children were also blocking the route to breakfast in the morning. In description it says ski storage and ski pass vendor's. I think this needs changed as not provided. Not an issue but a bit confusing. Kettle in room would be beneficial.
The location is somewhere above, about 30 minutes walking from the bus station (with havy luggage). The location is quiet, we had a room with an excellent view, towards the mountain. About 5 minutes walk are one-two supermarkets. The room was generally clean and spacious. Very large and comfortable beds. Very good internet, leaflets at reception, lots of information. Elevator. Good and diversified breakfast.
The balcony was not very clean. To pay the reservation, I wanted my money to be charged from the virtual card with which I made the reservation on booking.com. At the reception, I asked if the payment was withdrawn, they told me no and that I have to pay then, so was not possible to charge me the virtual card and I paid with another card (I lost 5 euros due to the bank exchange rate difference).
Room nice and clean. A nice and a quiet hotel. The room was to hot, need to keep the windows open.
Escape to the Escaldes in Andorra and stay at the modern 3-star Hotel Silken Insitu Eurotel Andorra, which was fully renovated in 2011. Set amidst the mountains but still only around a 6min drive from Andorra La Vella, this hotel, opened in 1985, is the perfect base for travellers seeking a respite but who nevertheless appreciate access to shops and restaurants. Its location, surrounded by mountains and close to the River Valira, makes the hotel particularly attractive to travellers who want to explore the natural surroundings on both weekend trips and longer stays. With an on-site restaurant and close proximity to attractions like the Claustrophobia Andorra Escape Rooms and Casa de la Vall, the hotel ensures you have culture and outdoor fun on your doorstep.
Catering particularly to couples and families, the Hotel Silken Insitu Eurotel Andorra features 70 differently sized rooms to accommodate both a romantic retreat and more space for family fun-time. Basic Rooms start at 12 m² and are designed predominantly with single travellers and couples in mind. Like all rooms, they feature an LCD flat-screen TV, hairdryer and en-suite bathroom with rain shower. For couples, the Silken Club Attic Room or Silken Club Room with Terrace is a great choice, as these rooms offer more space and a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The biggest rooms are the Quadruple and Family Rooms, both designed for families, with 20 m² and 22 m² of space respectively. Bunk beds in the Quadruple Room make sleeping an adventure for children and there are two sinks in the bathroom.
On site at the hotel, guests will find a bar-cafeteria where they can get food, snacks and drinks from 08:00 until midnight. But even outside these extensive opening hours no one needs to suffer hunger, as there is a 24h vending machine at your disposal in the open hall. Paying special attention to regional produce, the breakfast buffet features products from the area and is served every day from 08:00 to 10:30. Just a few minutes by car from the hotel you will also find a wide array of restaurants, and in Andorra La Vella there is a multitude of international restaurants at your disposal. The closest restaurants include the Hard Rock Café (about 4min by car), L’Enoteca (about 2min by car) and Restaurant Mussol (about 3min by car).
The Hotel Silken Insitu Eurotel Andorra offers guests a broad outdoor experience. It is conveniently close to the Grandvalira ski slopes, which makes it the perfect base for a skiing holiday. The Funicamp ski lift in Encamp is about 10min away by car and many hiking trails start directly from the hotel area. For a little stroll with children you can also go into the nearby Central Park of Andorra La Vella, where you will find over 30,000 m² of recreational green space.
You may hit a bad weather day or simply want to relax for a change, and guests of the Hotel Silken Insitu Eurotel Andorra can conveniently do so at the nearby Caldea Spa, located about 7min on foot from the hotel. Inside the spa you can benefit from various spa treatments and a water park, making it an appealing choice for both romantic breaks and family time.
