Place is silent
Reasonably close to all the places we wanted to go but had to use car to go anywhere. Never had any issues of noise during the night. Staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby; Sula Wok was amazing.
May seem obvious to others but I had no idea this was a working university residence with students living there full-time. There were almost no amenities in the room considering it was advertised with kitchenette... shampoo and bars of soap were in the bathroom but that's it. There was nothing in the kitchen area AT ALL. No cutlery, or dishes or dish soap or drying towels or any kind of cleaning items etc... We ended up eating out most of the time since it seemed pointless and expensive to buy everything we would need to prepare a meal in the room. The bedspreads were ancient, stitching unravelling, bath towels were marginally larger than a hand towel and were of dollar store quality. During our stay the police came twice; once to deal with some guy in another residence across the parking lot, and secondly to take away some woman who was staying in our building. We always felt safe and I'd like to say it was inexpensive (I suppose it was relative to the downtown hotels) but I will probably pay more to stay elsewhere or go to a similarly priced airbnb next time.
Close to our favorite restaurant. Easy to park. Quiet except for the children shouting at 7 in the morning. The kitchen was clean, counter, fridge, table, etc. We like to have two separate rooms.
The bed sheets and blanket. The sheets are too small for the bed. The blanket is really full of holes. It should be thrown away. The bathroom could be cleaner, hair on the floor, the door was dirty. There was dust in the bedroom.
The location is right downtown. It is convenient to everywhere.
These hotels forget that people actually PAY for services. The wifi is is horrific! You can’t charge and give me rubbish as wifi or no microwave or even the water not flowing properly. That’s rubbish for my money!
Beds are a little small.
