A little hot in the room
The room was wonderful, a huge bed and super clean. The bathroom fixtures for hanging up towels were missing but nothing too important. We enjoyed the possibility of sitting at the table and chairs outside the room.
The breakfast was a bit on the sparse side, one piece of toast and 1 egg and coffee or juice was all we got, you guys could provide a bit more there. :) although, we were able to switch that out for beans and totopos or a very small plate of fruit and 1 piece of toast, nothing filling. We did mention it was our honeymoon when we booked, but we didn't recieve any kind of response.
Charming hotel with nice staff. It was close to everything.
Breakfast. It would help in the beginning to be given a paper with breakfast hours, what was included and options. I was told that I could have coffee or juice. Then I was told that one day is one piece of toast and a few pieces of watermelon. The next day, I could have eggs, eggs only I guess. I decided to not have breakfast there. Why charge for it, if it is basically non-existent.
Charming small hotel perfectly located just a few streets from the beach and close to many great restaurants and bars. The rooms are very clean and cozy with authentic Mexican decor- feels like you are staying with family. Most rooms have their own patio area with a table and chairs. My suite had a fully stocked kitchenette with a full size fridge, two cooking elements and filtered water dispenser- perfect for longer stays (A modern chain grocery store is blocks away for all your supplies). They also have a nice restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a gorgeous courtyard with a small pool perfect for cooling off - also plenty of poolside seating for relaxing with a book in the hot afternoon. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They even help me organize a snorkelling trip. I highly recommend Hotel El Moro for its overall comfort and fantastic location.
Not much to improve. Instructions on how to use the room amenities would be helpful. I had some difficulty figuring out how to switch on the air conditioning unit and I was never able to work the television (two remotes controls made it confusing). The breakfast included was a little inconsistent- one morning full breakfast with eggs the next day coffee and fruit. Still great stay all in all.
Entrale colorful nice garden cute balcony warm helpful staff
The price was too much for one night and a small breakfast - had to pay extra for more toast
