Cons:Dirty
Pros:The roof over the walkways are rotted and leaking. Floors and furniture are stained. Noisy plumbing. If you're just looking for a place to stop and sleep, I guess this will save you from sleeping in a WaMart parking lot. Otherwise, there really isn't a lot to praise.
Pros:How quickly I was changed rooms after we let them know we did not want a smoking room because the smell was too strong.
Cons:Even though we were moved quickly, the water was extremely hot could not shower, brush teeth, wash hands etc. Had to shower in the tub with a cup in order to keep water from burning.

Cons:The place was dirty and filthy. The worst Quinta I have ever been in.
Pros:Our room wasn't huge or decked out with super new furnishings, but it was clean. Location was fairly close to places we wanted to go--most drives were only 10 minutes or so. Staff was polite.
Cons:Our toilet was running when we came in, and the carpet by the AC unit was damp. The AC unit blew directly at the bed--both my partner and I were constantly too hot or too cold at night from having it blow on us. Our room faced the back parking lot and we got a lot of noise from outside and the lot next door. Also, the room keys are electronic and get discharged really easily when they get too close to your wallet or cell phone. Every day we had to replace at least one of them, even though we tried to keep these items far from each other. When you go to staff to have the card replaced, they don't even check ID, they'll just give you a card for the room you say. This didn't make us feel that we or our belongings were terribly safe.
Pros:The location. That's it.
Cons:Very poor security. The first evening there, someone sat on the hood of my rental car resulting in a huge dent in the hood. It was loud, almost no security at all, the parking was terrible and it's apparent they have break ins in the parking lot. Maid service was practically non-existent, I declined my second day there as the room was very clean, the maid never came back for the next 3 days. The rooms were beat, stained, and in need of renovation. For $118 a night (I realize that's cheap by Austin standards) however, they could have at least made a modicum of effort in cleaning the grounds and rooms, which they didn't. All in all, I wouldn't stay there again.

Cons:Room was old. shower felt dirty. Towels were gross. Nothing good to eat in the area.
Pros:The staff at this hotel were very polite. I didn't have any issues. When we called the front desk someone immediately came to our room to help. The bathroom was huge which I liked. And nothin was out of sorts with the bedroom. It was like any other La Quinta I've stayed at before. You get what you pay for. My stay was just fine.
Cons:Our toilet and phone for our room malfunctioned while we were there.
Pros:Not much to like about this property. I do like that La Qunita is pet friendly.
Cons:The property is old and in disrepair. It has been "renovated" with new carpets that are grossly stained already. That's about the only thing I could see that was new, except maybe the flat panel television. All the doors barely closed because I the layers and layers of paint built up. The faucet in the dirty bathtub was on crooked and the shelf was falling off the wall. It's in a very shady part of town. I had a guy approach me while getting my kids out of the car after dark one night asking for money. The new La Quinta's are pretty nice but we will never stay at this location again.
