Staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much bother for them
Situated where we could easily get to our college destination early saturday morning, instead of facing a long drive from Kent
Very comfortable and cosy, perfect for a night away
Lovely traditional building, modern interior
The bar and restaurant was comfortable. It is a pub after all.
The accommodation. It was awful. The worst I have stayed in for a long time. Room was tiny and felt very claustrophobic. It's a very old building with lots of very low doorways and I mean VERY low. This added to the claustrophobic feeling. It was a double room and I was on my own. God knows how two people manage in this room. Also the car parking fee of £5 per night. Ridiculous and should be waived after spending £115 on the room plus drinks in the bar and a meal. Greedy.
The staff pleasent, evening meal in restaurant was superb. Hotel was very clean.
Was not made clear that it was not a shower in room that was booked and I cannot get into Bath. Toilet not in a good place, heated towel rail next to it dangerous, burn yourself easily. Cooked breakfast disappointing sausages hard and over cooked, glad never had to pay 12.95 that it sad charging.
