I was in Columbus, Georgia. There was NO air-conditioning in My room. The Hotel provided me with a 8" desk top fan, and a standing fan. Yes, they helped a bit....but I paid for a ROOM in a HOTEL With AIC CONDITIONING IN 95 degree heat in Georgia.
The Front desk girl name Candy....who literally LIED to my face regarding my room being moved. She told me that "that conversation did not take place, and that she knew nothing about it". Now I said to CANDY that I had proof that the Hotel called me twice that afternoon, told me when I returned at 4:00 pm my move/ room was confirmed ....and I would be moving to room 225 (from 323). Ms. Candy said she knew nothing of this and that 'It Did not Happen". All of the words from her mouth were lies. ALSO, Candy explained in front of 3 witnesses that she and the other front desk girl went to my room to check the air and "we put our hands near the air return......it was fine". I did not give anyone permission to enter my room except the maids and the ENGINEER. Candy assured me she touched noting...but since she lied already twice to me, how could I believe she "touched nothing". This girl should be fired and never allowed to work with the general public again. It was the most miserable stay I have ever had in a hotel. And to be in the South in the Summer heat with a nearly working Air-conditioning unit in a hotel I paid for...and to be told I Lied in that there were no conversations confirming my move to room 225.....CANDY Is a Liar. I spoke with Kiki (who is amazing by the way) and I was phoned 2 times by the hotel and Kiki to confirm my room would be moved.
The staff was wonderful!!! Can't say enough about how helpful, polite and friendly they were!!
Everything was wonderful! The only thing I wish was different was, I wish the pool was colder.
breakfast was excellent all times. Employees attentions was great. Always you have a parking.
The breakfast was really good, they changed what they had each day so I didn't get sick of anything. The location was also really nice, since it was right next to the national infantry museum.
The only thing that would be nice is if there were more food options for lunch/dinner for people without a car. I had to order delivery the first night since I didn't have a car, but it wasn't too bad.
The breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety of options for everyone. The location at first seemed a little "if-y" but we kept going and its almost like we were on base. It could not be more perfect if you are going to a graduation because you are literally there. Make sure you visit the infantry museum, its beautiful and so well done!
