Pros: The staffs were really nice and breakfast was good! The place was clean. Information can be easily obtained from the staffs. Good location, a walk a way from the main shopping street.
Cons: It had a good location, however it was a little walk away from all the area that is lively at night. The area gets very quiet very early. The shower room was one floor above the room we stayed which was a little inconvenient.

Cons: Shower... No good.. not private

Pros: The staff and the atmosphere were superb, even if I didn't stay for long!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close to the shopping area and restaurants. Fun english speaking staff as a plus.
Cons: Missed a coffee for breakfast...
7.9 Good
Cons: Not up to the same level of accommodation experienced in other hostels,( ie radio dongmoon in Jeju). Very average 4 person dorms, smelly mens urinals, not as good a hostel to meet other travellers as some. Two pluses are the clean sheets and location.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and the staff was very kind. Furthermore, She has spoken in Japanese.
Cons: As a result, the night was quite, but I was worried about the noise. The smell of the toilet also needed to be improved.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was lovely, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was nice and the location was incredible. What was the best was the staff, though! Very kind and helpful when I had some small problems in Daegu.
Cons: Had to walk up some steep stairs, but it wouldn't hurt if it weren't for my large suitcase, haha.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was nice
Cons: Must of the people were sick in my room and we had to share one bathroom.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff and the fact that they kept our luggage’s for the day.
Cons: The men dorm room smelled bad and did not have hot water. Mattresses were firm.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff always helpful and greeted me with a smile. Clean sheets. Nice rooftop deck. Printed out airplane eticke for me. Staff was very hard working whether cleaning or helping guests get settled.
Cons: The younger crowd of Korean boys/men that stayed for day or two just to party. They were inconsiderate and didn't clean up after themselves or follow easy room rules explained by the staff like turning off hot water boiler or simply turning off lights. I was young once so I understand.

Cons: Room was insanely hot before check out as it was November and hotel said they do not provide air conditioning any more so they only can either provide fan or open window mannually. Pros: The price
Cons: The room, very hot. No air flow. Very staffed air in the room Z small window
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location is good. The staff is friendly.
Cons: - There is a terrible sewer smell in the bathroom, which is not very clean anyway. - Because the common area is beside the rooms and some of the staff members live at the hostel, it was very noisy and difficult to catch any sleep. Sometimes they stayed until 2 or 3 o’clock at night talking or they got up at 6 in the morning and spoke very loud without any consideration for the guests. - Steep staircase to the hostel which makes it difficult to haul your luggage up. - There is very little space to put things in the room
7.9 Good
Pros: Very central place. 5 mins from train and downtown. The place feels a blend of hostel and Airbnb. The free breakfast was a great touch. The shower/bathroom has a unique smell. The only 'con' of the stay

Daegu Grand Hotel - Daegu - Building

S$ 175+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Grand Hotel in Daegu (Suseong-gu), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Kim Gwangseok-gil Street and Kim Gwangseok-gil Street. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was very dated, and in need of refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. Curtains wouldn’t close as designed to and a lack of accessible outlets suggested a room layout and design conceived of before an abundance of tablet/smartphones. The room was too hot, with a pre-set and fixed temperature on the AC. Two calls to reception after 11pm to try to resolve the situation went unanswered. Toilet kept running water all night, too.
Cons: As above

Cons: There is no air conditioning only a heating system.
5.4 Okay

5.4 Okay
Pros: useful if you need to work at the EXCO
Cons: it needs a deep maintenance and improving services
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Honestly there isnt anything I liked about this hotel for the price I paid.
Cons: Location was out no where and inconvenient. Not easy to find the hotel entrance although its big building. The room carpet was so dirty. The bed was terrible. Front officer asked me to pay for the room when I checked in., which I never heard of it.. Usually asked to pay when you check out, not when you check in.
6.0 Good
Pros: Though it is an old hotel, I liked the hotel is pretty clean.
Cons: There was unpleasant smell in the hallway and the room. I think it is because the hotel is very old. When I entered my room, it was too hot. It turned out that the room thermostat was set to 29 degree Celsius. I wanted to cool down the room, but air conditioner was not helpful. So, I had to open the small window.
5.3 Okay
Pros: The bed was hard. The room smelled like cigarettes. This is just not a high end hotel.
Cons: Every aspect of the room needs updating.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is ideal for work travel, particularly for congresses at the Exco centre. The hotel is well kept and the cleaning service is incredibly neat, thoughtful and carefully tends to the room. The staff is helpful as much as they can. The rooms could be seen as slightly dated, but the beds and bed linens are comfortable and clean and it was a nice stay overall. Unfortunately I was unable to try the breakfast during my stay due my schedule but I heard it is good.
The Hanok & Spa - Daegu - Pool

S$ 26+
Overview Reviews
A stay at The Hanok & Spa places you in the heart of Daegu, within a 5-minute drive of Dalseong Park and Seomun Market. Featured amenities include express check-out, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
6.3 Good
Cons: First of all, the location was difficult to find. When my friends and I finally arrived, the sign on the door said we had to check in at a completely different location several blocks away. It was very convoluted. Once we checked in, we had to return to the first location to get to our room. There was a literal padlock on the door we had to unlock and once we were inside, we noticed a huge amount of mold as well as dead spiders. The receptionist ultimately changed our room, but we were placed in an 8 person dorm. There were no other guests, which was nice, but it was not what we wanted. Thankfully, though, the new room was clean and tidy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, the area is very quiet. About 20 minute walk from busy area - a little bit hard to find. Fine place to stay for basic accommodation.
Cons: The pool didn't have any water in it, so we couldn't swim.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool but unfortunately I was too late for it!
Cons: The entry code printed on the door for late arrivals to let themselves in! Handy for them. I know South Korea is a safe country and so much honesty... Still!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room and bed were nice.
Cons: Info and photos made it seem pool would be open. I came with swimsuit, looking forward to using the pool, but staff informed me it was closed for cleaning. Very disappointing.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Shower problem..plumbing system... Too many mosquito in room.. Cannot sleep Room and toilet dirty Not same as picture show... No swiming pools!!!
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Swimpool was empty
4.6 Okay
