Pros (+) We stayed in Unit 8, upstairs, with a balcony overlooking Poverty Bay and the boardwalk. Considering that this town is where New Zealand's history began (at least to some), the town is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking the boardwalk and relaxing after the hairpin turns of Hy. 2 (from Okotiki to Gisborne). The unit had everything we could hope to have.... a small kitchen, a wonder...
