Friendly, clean and valuePros: Family owned quaint inn. Clean and neat that's close to Main Street .Cons: No mini fridge or microwave, so if you have special dietary needs you may want to consider.
Pros: The Pines Inn is a cozy place to stay! It's right around the bend on the top of the hill on Main Street, so you're never too far away from the restaurants/bars/gift shops. The staff is friendly and we had no trouble getting to our room. Overall, a good place to stay!Cons: As triathletes, we would have loved a mini fridge in our room. But other than that, no complaints!
Good value near Main StPros: Owners Jill and Frank were excellent and always helpful.
Nice to see an old fashioned quiet decent affordable family run hotelCons: No elevator
No breakfast available on site
Pros: Nice old hotel. Rooms are small but cozy. Some facilities need updating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On premise restaurant was great. Overall a nice place to stay, a good value for Lake Placid, which can tend to be pricey especially in season.
Pros: Owners efforts to create "lodge" environment - friendly and helpful during our stay!Cons: Noisy - floor above room we were in
Pros: Staff could not have been more accommodating.
