Pros: The location could not be better, and the staff are so kind and helpful. Our stay was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel and very attentive staff! Breakfast on the terrace next to the river was just wonderful and the complementary sunset cruise was the ideal start of our holiday. City centre with sights, restaurants, spas and bars within walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the greatest of courtesy by the staff. The property is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Unlike our previous trip to Luang Prabang, one year ago, we decided on a more central location this year and were extremely satisfied with our choice. The food is excellent and the location perfect for walking and cycling excursions around the city. The staff were fantastic, and their fluency in English was great to see, although we all speak Thai and can communicate fluently with the locals otherwise. The view of the Mekong from our balcony was astounding and I would recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Luang Prabang.
Cons: The shower took a while to warm up, but it was peak season, so we didn't mind too much.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, bright room. Excellent location. Delicious breakfast. Exceptional service
Cons: No complaints.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff - great breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything - the location is perfect. Waking up to the Mekong outside your door yet only an easy 5 min walk to be the temples and night market. The breakfast on the terrace is delicious and the staff are beautiful. I highly recommend it and will stay again
Cons: For Luang Prabang it’s quite pricey but you get what you pay for
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely great Breakfast offer and variety! Asian versus Western mix. Right on the Mekong! Staff is extremely attentive! Charming setting! Overall good menu.... Recommended: dry sun worked in sesame
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money! You may seem the price is high compare to others hotel but once you step in its worth every penny. Staff were really kind. The room smell nice and clean. I really enjoy looking at the river view by the window. The breakfast is really great! Normally breakfast will end like 10 or 11 but here I can have breakfast at noon! Stay here and you don't want to leave the hotel
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the serenity of this property. The swimming pool, the bar area and the room were just spectacular.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff, location, ambiance and decor.
Cons: Same breakfast every day, poor attention to detail and more reactive than proactive approach.
5.4 Okay
Pros: This is a beautiful property - with a very rich history and heritage. The rooms are very well maintained and the cleaning staff is great as well. The dining staff is amazing - we enjoyed our breakfast every morning and they would remember our orders from the previous days. We had a quick dinner on one of the nights as well and again the staff delivered. The rooms do not have heating so they depend on space heaters. We were initially given a room on the ground floor with limited sunlight - so it was way colder than the outside temperature too. The space heaters didn’t work so the staff was prompt to move us to the upper level - which worked out fine for us.
Cons: We really liked the properly but were disappointed by the service and management. The person at the front desk(captain of the cruise too??) asked us what our plans were and then suggested that we take a private car to see the caves, waterfall, elephant conservatory etc. We decided to just go with the hotel driver (and pay the prices) for convenience. We specifically told the person we did NOT want to go to The buffalo farm or go to elephant riding places. We were told we would be heading to the waterfalls first to avoid the traffic. When the driver randomly stopped at a textile shop, we were confused and when we asked him what it was , we realized he couldn’t speak or understand English. This led to a very frustrating experience where we could not even ask him to turn on the air conditioner or pull up the window glass since he was just not able to communicate. Further, next when he brought us to a boat restaurant we figured we were going to the caves and not the waterfall. We would spend the next couple of hours going to places we didn’t want to go to begin with. In our frustration, we called the hotel to talk to the driver and express our frustration. To our further disappointment, the person who sold this to us was not apologetic or even empathetic and was laughing while saying sorry. I am not sure if this was a cultural thing or he didn’t understand the situation but it was appalling. We made it back to the hotel and I requested to see the manager. I was told that the manager would reach out. We checked out today and the manager was nowhere to be seen. Either the complaint was not relayed to him or the manager did not care - either way this shows how little the management cares about you. So stay away. Unfortunately, the property does not justify the lack of service that this hotel offers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Nothing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very good breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hideaway with style, indochine architecture, quiet. A place for individuals with attention to details and not running with the mass.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place and destination on its own, very tasteful decoration with antiques (room and general areas), great pool areas, fantastic breakfast, all in all quiet and relaxing; had a very nice sunset cruise with Rolls Royce taxi service. As an example for priorities: the room is not dominated by an ugly TV set (only by request; and the wifi works well).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel. Everything is decorated with love and taste. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is a la carte and fresh. I can only recommend the hotel.
Cons: Nothing

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast absolutely superb
Cons: Perhaps closeness to town but not a buggy
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, lovely balcony and regular shuttle to the centre.
Cons: nothing. But I will say that Laos is expensive (or maybe just Luang Prabang). So you would get more value for your money in Cambodia for example.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and traditional. Comfortable rooms and good value for money. Owner through fabulous New Year’s Eve party for guests and staff - unexpected and very welcome. Shuttle bus service good.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: That place is just amazing! The cottages with a river view are worth your money. The breakfast is huge and tasty - served at your terrace. Cottages are even nicer than photos show. The personnel is professional, kind and helpful. Swimming pool is nice and clean. Garden surrounding is beautiful, you see that there is a lot of effort put to keep it like this. What is more, the hotel offers free shuttle to and form the city also free shuttle to/from the airport. Believe me, you will forget that problems and rest of world exist.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Peaceful place. Very nice tropical garden and well done bungalow commodities
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I stayed at Thongbay with a friend and Could not have been more satisfied with the guest house. Our bungalow overlooked a beautiful garden and every morning we had a delicious breakfast on the porch. The staff was incredibly helpful and organized transportation throughout Luang Prabang for the whole stay. The bungalow was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was a huge plus!
Cons: The location is a bit far from the center of town, but they do have a free shuttle that runs several times during the day. It would have been nice to have had a little more flexibility in terms of our ability to get into the main part of town, but we made it work!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helful and frinedly. The setting is wonderful and pool facilitilies fantastic after a day exploring Luang Prabang. The property is a 20 minute walk from town, but the regular Thong Bay shuttle makes it very accessible, as do the bikes they have available for use. And if you want to stay out after the last evening shuttle, the accommodation is only a short tuk tuk ride. Breakfast on your deck each morning is a lovely touch.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly & efficient staff. Lovely setting overlooking river. Privacy. Excellent breakfast and tasty evening meals. Punctuality of shuttle bus. Individual spacious bungalows in Thai style.
Cons: No hot water in the bathroom basin. Noise from nearby bar, although out of hotels control.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food great location
Cons: The pillows where really hard

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff Beautiful room Comfortable bed Amazing shower
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is spacious, well tended, beautifully designed with comfortable deluxe well appointed rooms. The pool and river views are relaxing and quiet. The dining room area is beautiful, the food is excellent and very well priced. The staff goes out of their way to provide a comfortable stay. I fell during a hike and required medical care. Two staff drove me to the clinic and stayed with me for 3 hours. Outstanding service. I’d definitely return there and highly recommend the property.
Cons: It is a bit of a walk into town if you have limited mobility. You have to cross the river on a wooden bridge. It is not difficult but if you are afraid of heights it could be a challenge. The hotel cheerfully will drive you to town so location is not a real problem. The bathroom storage is limited.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staffs are very friendly. It is by the riverside so very quiet and peaceful.
Cons: It is within reasonable walking distance to the Main Street however the conditions of the two bridges made it very difficult for people to walk. The hotel has shuttle service. But it can be more frequent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful location on the river. The staff was wonderful and quite helpful booking taxis and tours.
Cons: It is a bit of a far walk from town, but we loved the location on the river and would stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved staying at Le Bel Air. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean and beautifully designed. The area is quiet. You have a lovely view overlooking the river. The city center is quite close, 10 mins walk by bike. You can also walk by foot to the city center crossing one of the bamboo bridges. Highly recommend staying there. I also loved the fact that it's very close to the French bridge which is a real beauty.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super nice environment directly at the river. Nice and big pool, staff always super friendly.
Cons: Breakfast could include fresh juice. Location is nice but you have to walk a bit to town, anyways there is a shuttle and while walking you can explore the neighborhood a bit. In total quite expensive for Laos.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful sorroundings, nice garden, comfort room
Cons: In hotel charged me more than was booked on Bookinng.com. When I was paying I asked for the bill, they told me to get it at check out. At check out, I paid for the restaurant and transport costs, they added to my stay again. When I angrily denied that amount, they didn't even apologize for the mistake. Maybe is better to avoid this hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and everything was considered. Proper hair dryer, environmentally friendly water and toiletries and cosy bed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive staff
Cons: The hotel could offer a more frequent shuttle bus service.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The architecture, a mix of French colonial, situated in spacious, well designed gardens makes for a nice place to come home to each day. But the staff make the place - nothing is too much trouble. They are attentive, kind, warm people that embody the beautiful Laos culture. They anticipated your needs and already had it solved before you knew you needed something. They were also on hand to welcome you back after a day out. The pool makes a delightful oasis to retreat to. The detailed finishes in the suites are of a high quality. Bedding was lovely and we had a great night sleep every night. I could go on but you get the idea ;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I stayed at this property for a quick get away, it was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. The General Manager came to chat with the guest each morning providing a personal and warm feeling. The room was beautiful French colonial design with a balcony that opened up to the pristine hotel grounds that was covered in the most beautiful trees and gardens. The room was clean and bed was super comfortable. The food is beyond words, the chef at the restaurant has the perfect touch, combining French and Laos influences into some of the best dishes we have ever had in Asia (we have been living in Asia for 3 years). The bar is also wonderful emanating old French vibes, the pool is tranquil and calm -- with cocktails and food poolside which are to die for! We cannot recommend this property enough.
Cons: Not one single thing!
7.9 Good
Cons: They hide behind booking.com to justify that they overcharge us. Without even trying to help finding a solution. Not very service oriented for a 5 stars property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in ever. Fantastic tropical and authentic atmosphere, very professional and nice staff, big and very stylish and cozy rooms. The kitchen is likewise outstanding. Pool area superior. The Hotel is like a warm family home where we wanted to stay longer! ... and now top of the list of hotels we want to re-visit.
Cons: Not much to complain about. This is truly a great small luxury hotel!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolute phenomenal experience!!!
Cons: Couldn’t be any better !!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff and surroundings. They even gave us complimentary rides to town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just loved the serenity and beauty of this hotel. The staff were wonderfully attentive and could not do enough. Stunning rooms. Feel like you’re going back in time to a different era. Simply wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Cons: Nothing everything was great
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I especially like the free bikes for rent, and the supper fluffy pancakes served for breakfast.
Cons: Non applicable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel seems to be a family run and every staff seems to show genuine desire to help. It was perched on the Nam Hkam river and a little bit further out from the old quarter, which is a good thing.
Cons: The breakfast could be improved a bit more. Like how to make a better scramble eggs and this will definitely help. The WiFi is sometime patchy for some rooms. You won’t need a WiFi for a laidback town like this 24/7 but you never know what might comes up so better have a good WiFi
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff, clean rooms, use of bikes

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a very calm and quiet feel. Our rooms were in the old part of the main house which had "old French style character". Located in a pleasant area less than ten minuites walk to the centre of the town. Breakfast had a good choice of local and international food served in an open airy dinning area. Many nice features and services such as a complimentary drinks and cold towels on arrival, turndown service in the evening with cookies. The staff were very helpful especially the Assistant Manager who recommended an excellent sunset river trip.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast, too strong and not hot enough for our taste.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The exquisitely decorated rooms and halls echo both French and Lao sensibilities. The gardens and pool are a lovely oasis from the heat of midday. The delicious breakfast buffet is a nice blend of western and Lao options. The staff is exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us organize tours, transportation, and even helped us get to a Hmong New Year celebration up in the hills. It is obvious that Eloise, the hotel manager, really cares about her job and checks in each morning at breakfast to see if her guests need any help coordinating activities or transportation. She gave me several tips about northern Laos and even a quick Lao history lesson upon request. I was very appreciative. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Luang Prabang.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything: the rooms are nice, the hotel is stylish as a boutique hotel should be. Service was excellent. Especially the french lady in charge of customer relations was really nice and helpful. The pool is a nice oasis to rest inbetween excursions and city walks. I slept very well here (quiet and quality bed)
Cons: The only thing i could have wished for more was non-dairy alternatives to milk and yoghurt at breakfast. But that’s a minor detail.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing it was simply perfect
8.0 Excellent
Pros: On arrival were pleasantly greeted by staff..We loved the breakfast. Food was tasty. The location is very central but quiet and away from the main road. The staff and especially manageress very friendly and also helpful and knowledgeable of the area
Cons: Whilst the bathroom was clean ventilation could have been better. Whilst breakfast was delightful the one meal we ate at the restaurant in evening was average.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: If I could have a wish: the pool water could be a bit warmer
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great property overall with nice atmosphere at the lobby. Fantastic gardens and functional restaurant. Spacious guestrooms and you get this colonial feel. At an ideal distance just off Luang Prabang center, with privacy and calmness guaranteed. Free bikes at disposal. Professional and friendly staff. Easy money exchange at the reception.
Cons: The bathroom layout is not good and its design does not match with the rest of the room. Water gets spilled out of the shower. When you sit on the toilet your face is near the sink. Every evening the staff will knock your door to ask if you want they close the exterior windows blinds for the night; they do bring cookies though:) The AC unit was painted. Check-out was slow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to almost everything. Close to the Mekong River and many cafes, bars and restaurants where you can overlook the river and watch The Sunset.
Cons: Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.
Cons: All good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great place, close to Mekong river. Very comfortable beds
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I don’t even know where to begin in this review because we enjoyed our stay at the Mekong Riverview hotel so much! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they greeted us with a nice welcome drink and helped get us checked in. They also gave us a map of the town and pointed to some key places to visit and nice restaurants to check out. During our stay, they always made sure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with a smile! They also helped us to arrange some tours. The hotel itself is really charming. It is situated right along the Mekong, which made for a wonderful view when we stepped out each morning. The location is great, as the town is small and everything is in walking distance (or you can borrow bikes from the hotel to get around!). The beds and sheets were very comfortable and the A/C worked great, so we slept very well each night! Also, the we never had any issues with the WiFi. The room also had a bunch of books about Laos history, legends, and things to do, which we found really helpful and interesting. The breakfast each morning was a total standout! It’s at the hotel restaurant across the road and has a spectacular view of where the Mekong and the Nam Khan river meet. We loved just sitting there each morning and looking at the view. The food itself was also wonderful! And of course, the service was excellent. I could honestly go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay here. I spent a lot of time researching before our trip, trying to find the best place to stay in Luang Prabang, and I’m confident that I found it! I will be recommending this hotel to everyone I know, and I can’t wait to return!
Cons: Nothing at all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely boutique hotel with the best location in Luang Prabang, in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to the different interesting places around. The owner and all staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Beautiful views over the Mekong River and relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool and spa are located on the other side of the river but really worth to visit every day for a relaxing afternoon or refreshing start into the day. The restaurant is very nice located overlooking the two rivers, great food, cozy ambiance.
7.0 Good
Cons: Would like the coffee at breakfast to be hotter.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Directly at the Mekong
Cons: A little noisy in the morning

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lotus Villa is so charming! The hotel - nestled along a quiet street right in town - has a beautiful courtyard, super yummy breakfast, excellent service and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Honestly, there was not a single thing I didn’t like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a very central location of Luang Prabang yet it is in a quieter side of it, as the hotel is located parallel to and in between the main street and the river road. It is 3 mins walk to the nearest restaurants, cafes, temples, and monasteries. We really enjoyed the free flow of breakfast. It is basic breakfast of omelettes, croissants, and really good coffee and local special daily (between rice porridge - the best! and mango sticky rice). The hotel room has basic toilet and room amenities that are kept clean regularly. The staff is polite, gentle, and helpful, although because of the courtyard design of the property can be heard speaking loudly from the courtyard. They regularly ask about comfort and needs regarding food and our overall stay.
Cons: While it is generally a quiet hotel tucked in a quiet street, the courtyard layout of the hotel plus the room with a door in between does not lend itself to complete good night's rest. We were up on some nights and awakened early morning with next door guests speaking loudly in the rooms and courtyard. The assistant manager readily offered us another available room on the second level after we spoke with him. We very much appreciated it! This hotel can do a little bit more work in terms of details of hospitality and service of a boutique hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff. Location. Great breakfast. I liked all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff - free bikes to borrow and great breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, did not seem to be any limit. Excellent fruit salad, eggs cooked as you like and local specialities. Breakfast served in garden.
Cons: Complex built to Asia standard i.e. doors not closing easily few power points. To turn off lights you had to go to front door. No reading light over bed. Hanging space four hangers but limited hanging space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast. The setting feels like you are in the jungle with LLP the plants and trees. Great location walking distance to Main Street and attractions.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff, breakfast, greenery, quiet, secluded from street, tuk-tuk drivers know the hotel. (I was traveling with a western female friend who stayed in another room and she loved the place.)
Cons: This boutique hotel was clean and cute but it was not functional enough for me: There was no place inside the room to place things on. I had to open up my suitcase on either the bed or the floor. No desk or table to write on. The shower had no water pressure, and the drainage leaked out onto the floor. The wifi in my room did not work. The fridge was cluttered with junk that I did not want.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room size, helpful and polite staff. The counter staff brought us to a bike rental shop. (the hotel free use bike is limited on availability as they only have 2 bikes)
Cons: The room we stayed is a suite with good size..BUT, floor tiles is loose, aircon is weak, lighting for the side hall need some luck to turn it on. Was told that will be able to witness locals offering alms to the monk at the balcony.. Well, you could but you have to put up with the fact that the balcony is facing a rubbish dump area that the nearby resident will throw their garbage in the evening and the rubbish trunk coming to collect at night. sitting at the balcony watching ppl comes and goes dumping their garbage right in front of you is not much fun during holiday. No TV in the suite, wifi is very weak. Breakfast is overrated, I've stay in 3 hotels during this trip. This is the most expensive one and breakfast is not even par with the other hotel I've stayed (near namkan river, 1 street behind) which cost less than half the price for similar room. Water pressure in the shower is very low. but it's rather common in LP. Side note: For traveller not from thai/USA region, dont bother to change your local currency to USD. money changer accepts many foreign currency. And withdrawing from ATM also a good option.

Pros: Location is superb. I love the heritage style architecture.
Cons: The noise is quite loud since the hotel is by the road with cars and motorbikes coming all the time. The walls and ceilings are not sound proofed.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were amazing!
Cons: The room was cold even with a small heater and it really made showering very uncomfortable during this season. :(
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This a great boutique hotel. The staff is wonderful and the property is well maintained. The location is great-a short walk to everything in Luang Prabang.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, great location! The food is good as well
Cons: No common facility due to the size of property
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very attentive from the manager , Mr Teesengchan through the staff such as Mr. Lan. This allowed us to relax and truly enjoy. Luang Prabang. The hotel has hints of the old french traditions, in decor and service. The restaurant has excellent food comparable to those in town, prices are reasonable. All the facilities work in the hotel.(Important in Laos). The location is divine, riverside, minutes to the main street and temples. 10 to River Mekong.
Cons: Not much. The room uses a key card to activate the room AC so the room can be a little warm when entering. The AC does work well. The door handles when closing from outside are awkward to use in our room. See not much!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel may blend with all the other buildings in the area but it is definitely a standout once you see yourself lounging in the lovely terrace by the Nam Khan River and passersby look your way in awe. Our room had a balcony facing the road and overlooking the river and it was superb. Wooden furnishing, super comfortable bed, free stuff from the bar (an opening promo), and a lavish shower made our stay truly comfortable. Add to that the amazing service from the staff right from the reception to the food up to the cooking class (I highly suggest that you opt for this experience). Many special thanks to Mr. Zack, Chef Noy, Mr. SOne & Mr. Bounmee for making our stay relaxing and carefree in Luang Prabang. PS The classic Mercedes is a fine touch!
Cons: Toothbrushes were not provided during our stay. We have our own but I think it should be part of the standard toiletry set (in case guests forget to bring their own). Other than that, all things are a-ok!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amaxing! Good breakfast. Very relaxed and elegant environment.
Cons: The shower water was very frustrating! It kept changing from very hot to cold. Made having a shower a disappointing experience.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, relaxing hotel with excellent rooms, good facilities, very welcoming staff.
Cons: Very small points, but the staff had booked a car for our flight departure time not our hotel departure time (quickly put right!) And I saved them from failing to charge us properly for an excursion and the car booking! (That might be a like rather than a dislike...)
7.1 Good
Pros: The pool was really good, chilled out and relaxing.
Cons: We enjoyed our stay... but, the staff lacked training and were very over baring a lot of the time. The room was nice but the bed wasn’t as comfy as I expected and some parts of the room could have done with some TLC. Also, the price of drinks and food were about 3 times the prices of elsewhere and the 10% admin cost added on is ridiculous.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice and wellcoming staff. Beautiful views
Cons: Didn’t like the bathroom very much. Showering in the bathtub not very convenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have never thought I would ever give a hotel 10/10 and here we go! - Beautiful colonial-style property in the middle of the jungle - extremely quite and private, yet a stone throw to the vibrant city center of Luang Prabang (10-15 minutes walk, 5 min by bicycle which they have for free). Amazing facilities, including 24/7 infinity pool, on-site restaurant with local cuisine, bar with signature cocktails, great gym, fantastic spa (I got the second 60 min massage for free!) with another beautiful pool (much cooler than infinity one) and sauna, not mentioning the rooms with incredible views and attention to every little detail. - Constant, but completely invisible and not annoying attention from the staff who all know your name and anticipate your every need and desire: i was gently notified in the morning that my table is ready for breakfast, was kindly reminded about my spa procedures during the day, the moment i sat down at any place of the hotel a cocktail and a variety of snacks appeared mysteriously by my side, my whole bunch of clothes was taken to the laundry and came back in a couple of hours smelling like heaven and they even repaired my torn jacket without any request from me. They gave me a handcrafted scarf as a goodbye gift during the check-out.. Cherry on the pie - half way through to the airport i asked the hotel's driver to make a quick stop at Mekong river as i hadn't got a chance to go to the town during my stay. Guess what? I received a 25-minutes private guided tour across the town instead. This is what I call a client-oriented approach! - I was lucky to be visiting the hotel during the low season - at the busiest time of my stay only 4 rooms were occupied and I never saw another person while exploring the hotel's territory, which was an amazing experience itself!
Cons: It will be great to have sockets a bit closer to the bed, but this is the only tiny thing i could think of!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was impeccable. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Long check in and long waiting time for food in empty restaurant
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, wonderful room, with outstanding room service (they put out fresh fruits daily, and clean up the room twice). Fantastic breakfast, with many Lao and Western options (including open bar bloody Mary). Impeccable pool service. In sum, an absolutely fantastic hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was phoenominal! From airport pick up from to airport drop off! The manager of the hotel introduced himself to us and made us feel welcome. All staff knew our names and were very interested to know our daily plans and if we were comfortable. We would stay here again and again! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in or visiting Luang Prabang.

Pros: Hotel was very beautiful and had kind staffs, Airport free shuttle from and to the airport. A little bit far away from the city but is was ok because the hotel has free shuttle many times to and from city center. Clean and large pool with nice view, Breakfast had many international and Laos choices that were so delicious. I really recommend this hotel and if I come back to Luang probang I will stay there.
Cons: Nothing
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: To this 5-star hotel, please note the following preparations: 1) Pay cash (U.S. dollar) to avoid repeat deductions from your bank card. 2) Accept to take cold water shower or finish your shower in 5 minutes. 3) The hotel's manager is a Philippine people. He wanted to teach us how to take a quick bath before the hot water disappears. 4) As the the guests next to us are American couples who have no complain, we, Chinese shouldn't have, too. Or we were called "DIFFICULT guests" by the manager. Finally it destroyed my vacation (in Feb)and it's not over yet as it is taking my time, energy and money for dealing with duplicate deductions now.
7.5 Good
Pros: The very big swimming pool and quiet location
Cons: Breakfast breads and croissant wet and at times one or2 days old. Coffee undrinkable. Free airport roundtrip shuttle as listed inBooking. com only free on arrival. Usd 15 charge upon departing. General Manager very strange and not guest oriented.

Pros: The most beautiful lotus ponds and gardens in the property, the kindness of the staff, the perfectly balanced and varied breakfast, the quiet swimming pool, the cleanliness and so much more, make it a little piece of paradise in a town that is a gem in itself
Cons: To have to leave this paradise...

Pros: Excellent location, comfortable rooms and an exceptional restaurant.
Cons: Breakfast could be better. While the front desk staff were helpful, the staff at breakfast came across as surly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Services of staff Clean & Comfort
Cons: Everything good
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff were obliging - same as everywhere in Indochina
Cons: Rooms are much lower standard than as described in your site. They are not modern and have been cheaply "renovated" with a coat of paint. There are no robes or slippers. WiFi is now you see it now you don't. I cannot understand why we were given a room with a so-called sitting area which consisted of part of a narrow corridor between the window of our room and a wall thinly disguised with bamboo. No one would want to sit there. They did change the room the following day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you are looking for a peaceful vacation and close to all amenities then this is a perfect place. The water lilly ponds are beautiful with the pink and white lilies opening each morning at 7am and closing by 10pm. Pleanty of open garden space to sit and relax enjoying the peacefulness.
Cons: Everything was exceptional, however the breakfast was a let down, service was great but the choice of food was limited.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We spent 3 nights at My Dream and wished we could stay longer! We loved the room and the lovely terrace overlooking the garden, the food was great (best pad thai) and the staff always very helpful and kind with the kids. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff can help arranging taxis, restaurant bookings, etc. quickly. We used the free bikes to go to the town centre during the day and the shuttle in the evening. Definitely recommend this hotel for your stay on Luang Prabang.
Cons: The pool was a little cold but due to the temperature drop at night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Shuttle offered to/from town was very helpful. Breakfast was exceptional, complete w/egg station. Staff went above and beyond! Great location across the river accessible by bamboo footbridge during the dry season (5 min walk from resort). Cost to cross is 7000 kip and goes to the building + maintenance of the bridge (built by locals, not the gov't). So many great restaurant, bar + spa options. The resort also has a fantastic happy hour from 4-7 and excellent mojitos!!
7.1 Good
Pros: 2 pools, family room is really quite large, mosquito nets were helpful, breakfast was nice, pool towels available in each room, staff were very helpful in getting a tuk tuk or a cab.
Cons: Pools were freezing- bigger one was slightly better, but I think that might be LP pools in general. French owner, seemed to gravitate towards French guests... might have just been my perspective though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, excellent staff, very good bungalow with large balcony and garden view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The character and design of the hotel, cleanliness, and staff. Food was also very good. WOW. Coming back again soon and will definitely stay here. :)
Cons: I know that being "disconnected" is important while on vacation, but for some that do need to work an hour or two a day, the internet connection speeds were very below sub-standard. I was pretty disappointed and had to find another place to connect. This place definitely needs an internet speed upgrade.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming accommodation Free Bycycle available even for the kids !! Scooters can be rented with helmets for kids !
Cons: Cold water in the swimming pool but maybe it's linked to the season ;-) Pillows were quite hard...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was slightly away from the main town - however only a lovely ten minute walk over the paid for bamboo bridge. Gorgeous setting - the grounds are amazing with stunning views. The staff were so kind, warm and attentive.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect

Pros: The staffs are very friendly n helpful.
Cons: The floor trap in d shower room, water unable to flow quick even on d ground floor.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was close to the night market and the room was clean.
Cons: I asked for a late checkout and even though my room was not being used, they only gave me one hour more for free and wanted to charge me for more. I didn’t realize that i had booked a more expensive room and the person at the front desk did not explain that i was in a suite. I did not realize that i was in a suite since it was what i thought of as a normal sized hotel room. at $65 per night, this hotel room was far more expensive than the other accommodations in the same area. As an American solo traveler who likes to meet others, I did not like that there were no other English speakers in this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful hotel, located in a nice little street, in a fantastic location, 50 metres from the night market and 50 metres from the river with all its night time restaurants and day time boat tours. Hotel staff very helpful and were great when we left a few things in our room when we checked out, the staff were extremely helpful and responsive in getting them to us at our next destination in Loas. Couldn't have asked for more.
Cons: No complaints at all.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location. Easy access to any places.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location, close to everything - night market, museum, coffee shops, restaurants, ATMs, and foreign currency exchange shop. A safe and well-lit area.
Cons: We were given a room with dark walls (looks like it’s in the process of getting re-painted) so the room was a bit gloomy but it was cleaned everyday and everything works well.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Near night market, phusi mount view pointand Royal palace. Staff are very nice.
