The Hotel was a nice clean, comfortable place to stay. The rooms were cleaned every day and the towels changed. The only meal we had was breakfast, and that was also very good.
Nothing directly wrong with the Silver Jubilee Hotel, but Newquay appears to have ditched the Family Holiday image in favour of the Stag-Hen Night visitors. With large groups of young people, full of alcohol roaming around the resort until the early hours of the morning. The noise and anti social behaviour are definately a minus point. As the hotel is situated only yards from a Night Club the noise can be annoying, especially if you stay in one of the rooms at the front.
friendliness of the the owners, nothing too much trouble :)
Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable patrons
It was advertised as couples/families only, however a stag group were also booked.
Great family run atmosphere and professional yet personal service. A good traditional British B&B. Long shall they continue. Great home cooked food by Andrew - nice quality and selection.
Friendly owners, excellent location - in the middle of town.
The room we stayed in (Carbis Bay) was very small - I am aware this is the smallest room in the hotel.
Nobody bothererd you at all coming in or going out
The hotel overll was quite tired and cluttered
