There was nothing to like about this hotel to like.
The room was extremely small and awkward to move about in. The basics (linens, clean shower and sink and toilet) were fine, but the walls were dirty and scuffed, the bedside table had a broken leg, the curtains were dirty, the upholstery on the desk chair had multiple food stains. The quality of the furnishings was poor, and in poor repair, as well. Nothing about this room was consistent with the pictures or description online.
Recomandable for safe area even no far by the Place Pigalle-Gare de Nord-La Chapelle-Abesses area; also is in the proximity of the Opera and the Grand Magasins. The bed very clean and well-done; also the bed was very relaxant.
The lift too small; anyway, to live in a room near lift means to hear it very well. The walls were dirty (really need to be painted), also the carpet impregned with dirty drops; the furniture is old. In fact, all the hotel needs to be refurbished, especially the floors; all night long I had to listen the chating form the upper room and my ceilling creaked ro break every time they step. If you like to sleep in some adventurous way, try it :)
Relatively cheap, close to Pigalle Metro. Was here on business and didn’t spend much time at the hotel, so in terms of just a place to sleep, it was ok. The reception staff were very pleasant, helpful and, usefully, bilingual. They looked after my case on the day I left so that I could look arround and there was no cost of doing so. The reception staff were the best thing about this hotel.
The bathroom was dirty. In particular the shower curtain which was beyond washing and needed replacing. There was scum on the ceiling just above the shower. The bedroom had a slight musty smell and was in desperate need of decorating. One day my room wasn’t cleaned at all, though the receptionist was very apologetic. If you need somewhere cheap and central, are a man on your own and don’t mind to much then this place was at best 'ok'. Please note that whilst Pigalle is often described as 'vibrant', it is the red light district and you cannot walk anywhere without being approached by pimps trying to get you into bars. After a few days of politely saying no I became more 'forcefull'!
location, very central, 2 min from tube
it is very close to the subway, Pigalle and a nice plaza with coffees and restaurants
i didn't like the too step stairs, the noise because of the wooden floor and the very narrow elevator. The parking said one price in Booking and it is more expensive
I know, that in hotels of Paris there are very small numbers, but here there was enough space for two adults. Purely, accurately, friendly staff. The good price for an arrangement and comfort in 2-star's hotel
The window in internal mine - is not visible, what weather in the street
After getting our bearings this cosy hotel was pretty close to everything by walking distance. Were treated well by all staff. Spoke good english when our french was lacking haha! Was great to come home, shower then sleep and to explore all over again the next day.
The bathroom was so small!
balcony at 5th floor streetside was nice
Small elevator, very small corridors to manouvre luggage in an out the room, small bathroom outdated, also the room could need some redecoration, refurnishing. Only French channels on tv.
friendly, helpful staff great location balcony cool nice room good bed, not too soft We generally really liked the room
shower curtain was too old/smelly the area can be noisy during daytime, sometimes at night, but wasn't a real problem for us.
cleanliness of the room
the room although on the 4th floor was quite noisy at night the guy at the reception was quite obtrusive once he figured that I travelled solo
