The folks at check-in and check-out were really a pleasure to speak with. I enjoyed the hotel rooftop bar, and my room was great!
I would have liked to have had breakfast the next morning, but I left at 8am on a Saturday, which was before breakfast started.
Chad at the front desk was wonderful. The room was huge, and the view spectacular. The bed was so comfortable we didnt want to leave it. The rooftop restaurant, Topside, was just amazing. The food was well seasoned and perfectly prepared. Our server was just the right level of attentive. We have a new favorite place for a staycation here in Baltimore. Close enough to home for convenience but it feels like being a world away.
Other than the elevators being a bit claustrophobic, which is more of a nod to the age of the building, it was fabulous.
Bed comfortable and shower nice
The bathroom door needs to be fixed didn't shut properly and squeaky
Location, check-in, spacious room, great view of Washington Monument and Mt. Vernon Square, walkable to dinner and theatre
Topside Restaurant should have more regular breakfast dishes: waffles or French toast, not just uber-fancy stuff and brunch (at 10 am it’s too early for that!) Long wait for elevator.
There was no typical breakfast buffet. My only regret. There was a restaurant that served breakfast though.
Did not have a breakfast buffet.
