Pros (+) Aldea Real is situated in a gorgeous spot overlooking the river and facing a verdant mountain side. The view and the power of the rushing water is breathtaking. The room was neat, clean and well appointed and a balcony provided great access to the view. The place is managed by an amicable young couple who were able to converse in English as well as Spanish, which came in handy.
Cons (-) While Aldea Real is in a gorgeous spot, it is not particularly close to town; it is about a 8 minute cab ride away. That said, a cab ride is $2, and I felt the view was worth it. My one recommendation would be the need for dehumidifiers to remove moisture from the air to keep mold at bay during the rainy season.
