10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable, large , with 2 reclining chairs. Lots of windows with wood blinds & windows to open for fresh air.
Cons: The room got very warm. Good thing we could open windows.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect in relation to nightlife in Bloomington. The inn itself was quite lovely. Did not get to try the free breakfast, but friends who were also staying at the inn mentioned it was phenomenal. Instead of the typical breakfast bar fare, there were actual chefs who made dishes with some creative flare. Staff was quite friendly and having a 24hr reception was a plus.
Cons: I reserved a bedroom with a queen bed, but it was definitely a full-size bed. Friends who were staying in another room also stated that it was the same for them. Would recommend upgrading to a room with a king since I think it's only 10-20 more?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the breakfast. We've been to other B&B's and probably liked those more, but it was nice they changed the main items daily, it was fresh, and appeared to be homemade.
Cons: We do feel the cost was a bit high, but other than that it was a pleasant stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very clean and hospitable.
Cons: Could hear people in neighboring rooms. Was awakened several times. Went for breakfast at 6:45am (open at 6:30) and all the food that was supposed to be warm, was cold. Told staff member, who didn't seem to care.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: good variety. healthy food choices. tea varieties, fruit selections were very good.
Cons: all choices were very good. not disappointed.

Pros: The spacioness of the room. Located within walking distances to most downtown places. The breakfast was delicious,Gabe was excellent , very friendly and courteous!!!! The lady who checked us in was informative and gave us suggestion on what to do!!!
Cons: Wish there was a mirror in the bedroom or a one on a stand ( incase women traveling together). Didn't care for the toilet ,difficult to flush .and no one was really there to check us out. Gabe said goodbye and gave us leftovers to take with us.my sister doesn't drink coffee and wish there had been hot chocolate or tea in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both the breakfast and preparer were delicious and helpful.
Cons: We could not figure out how to turn off the AC and too late to ask for help.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this hotel because of the high guest rating on TripAdvisor. I was rather curious as to what a 9.6 rating is. I typically book the highest rated hotel rooms within my means when I travel, but never I have booked a 9.6 before. My expectations were hight, and they have been met and exceeded. It is a very nice and lovely old house - updated with awesome amenities, such as modern bathrooms and remote controlled fireplace (not every room has it but mine did), great location in a charming town, our guest room was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, choices for every taste. Amazing stay - will definitely be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s very cozy, and they have the best breakfast of any place I’ve ever stayed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very relaxing. Breakfast was awesome. Truly enjoyed our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasantly surprised with the wonderful stay we had. Our room was spacious, clean, had no strange or fake odor (a big plus for me!) and was comfortable and attractive. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and we enjoyed the historic feel to the inn. The location was perfect for walking to dinner and walking downtown. We hope to be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and grounds with private parking. Very comfortable bed and pillows and very clean. Great breakfast in the morning.
Cons: We were a party of four who had booked two rooms, but unfortunately I had no idea there were two separate buildings and we were not booked into the same building. The staff did find us an extra room in the same building which was very nice, but there was an extra $30 as the room was an upgraded room.
7.1 Good
Pros: Convenient and sweet
Cons: Bees in the bathroom
7.9 Good
Pros: Room very nice and bed very comfy. Felt like I was staying in someone’s lovely old home. Nice kitty on the property.
Cons: Breakfast could be served one hour longer. We missed it because it was only till 9. Outside of building needs paint.

Cons: Housekeeping did not come and empty our trash everyday. Traveling with a 17 month old makes a lot of trash. Had to use fast food bags to put trash in.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean with a great staff
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We got this place because it was so cheap and close to the road to the airport, but it was surprisingly comfy, and the service was great. We'd totally stay there again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I appreciated the free breakfast. There's no hot food, but they have a nice selection of items including bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit and donuts and the usual breakfast beverages. The dining area is large so you don't bump into anyone when you're making your way down the food tables.
Cons: I can't really think of anything I didn't like.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, it has rustic feel and a great price for nice clean room. Our bed was great. There is a great little Patio with grills and benches.
Cons: It is old but under construction to upgrade, but yet still clean. It could have a few more modern amenities. The breakfast area could be upgraded a little, but still had a good selection especially for being included in the price.
2.0 Mediocre

4.0 Okay
Pros: Furniture and decor modern and attractive. Location in the town square was convenient.
Cons: 118 is effectively a rooming house. Our suite was in the back of the building and had no windows. There were no amenities (lack of fitness facility or relationship with one). WiFi was inferior.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The suite was spectacular, and the location couldn't be better. It's a great value. We will definitely be staying here every time we travel to Bloomington!
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location was great and the room was fairly nice.
Cons: The walls between our room and the room next to us were so thin that we were kept awake from about 2 a.m. to about 5:30 a.m. while four young women came and went, conversing while they were in the room. Yes, they were going out to the bars nearby, and they were inebriated, but the thing is - they weren't playing loud music and they weren't talking particularly loud. But the walls were so thin that we could hear their convesations fairly distinctly and it kept us up. Another downer for our room (Room at 118) was that there was no separate climate controls. We were pretty warm. Moreover, if there had been a way to turn on an air handling system that could've helped with the noise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice decor. Great location. Generous space.
Cons: Kleenex? Did I miss them?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was within walking distance of the functions I was attending. Courtyard Suite was a full suite bedroom and kitchen/seating area. Very comfortable and clean.
Cons: I did not care for the artwork in the bedroom in the Courtyard suite but according to the website, it is available to purchase so always subject to change. I also stayed in the Wiley room - no windows which was ok since it was my last night and was only there to sleep. Would have liked a microwave in the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lots of space and very nice.
Cons: The kitchen sink was clogged as the garbage disposal didn’t work. Also the toilet kept running. A fan in the bedroom would also make it a bit kore comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely apt. in a great location.
Cons: The sofa sleeper wasn’t very comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything. The only thing that could make this room better would be a window. Thank you also for the upgrade!
Cons: I couldn’t figure out how to connect to WiFi and it was 11pm so I didn’t want to call, even though I know it would’ve been ok to call.... I just didn’t want to bother someone so late with something that wasn’t really important.

9.6 Excellent
Cons: I didn't like that there were not vending machines.
6.0 Good
Cons: The staff at the front desk was uncooperative at check-in. We had a reservation for a king and were given a 3PM check-in time. We arrived at 330 PM and were told that all they had were queens. They tried to make us feel guilty for getting them to check to see if any kings were actually clean and available. We were given attitude during this whole process.

Pros: Beautiful property and grounds with private parking. Very comfortable bed and pillows and very clean. Great breakfast in the morning.
Cons: We were a party of four who had booked two rooms, but unfortunately I had no idea there were two separate buildings and we were not booked into the same building. The staff did find us an extra room in the same building which was very nice, but there was an extra $30 as the room was an upgraded room.

Pros: The entire experience was very good; we had a wonderful overnight stay. I especially appreciated the young-kid friendly pool. The deepest end was only four feet with steps leading down into the three-foot end. My two oldest could walk the entire length.
Cons: The free breakfast was great as far as the varied offerings, lots to choose from. However, I would like to see the hours extended when it's available - maybe by another hour. You find yourself hurrying the kids in order to take advantage of the deal.

1.0 Poor
Pros: They upgraded our room
Cons: They have twice charged our credit card for the room and are not being proactive in resolving the problem. We have been forced to call them numerous times ultimately having to dispute the charge on our card
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was much better than I had expected. Quiet area, but near major highway access. Well designed room with adequate electrical outlets. Although no in house dining, several good restaurants in walking distance. Wide selection of breakfast food.
Cons: I wish the bathroom had a second sink. In all fairness the kitchen area did have a large sink. A second mirror would have been very useful for two people trying to get ready at the same time.
6.3 Good
Pros: I like that it has suites with a kitchen
Cons: Everything has been run down and our family can’t come see us unless we go downstairs and use key to let them in to the hall to use elevator. Inconvenient!
6.3 Good
Pros: The food and rooms were adequate. It was quiet.
Cons: The kitchen had ants, the burners on the stove smoked, the exercise room was tiny.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
